IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be
followed, including the following.
- READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
- To protect against risk of electric shock, do not put motor end of appliance in water or other liquids.
- This appliance should not be used by children and care should be taken when used near children.
- When mixing liquids, especially hot liquids, use a tall container or make small quantities at a time to reduce spillage.
- Keep hands and utensils out of the container while blending to prevent the possibility of severe injury to persons or damage to the unit. A scraper may be used but must be used only when the unit is not running.
- To disconnect, turn unit off, grasp plug, and pull from wall. Never yank on cord.
- Avoid contacting moving parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to an authorized service facility for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
- The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces, including the stove.
- Keep hands and utensils away from moving blades while processing food to prevent the possibility of personal injury or damage to the unit.
- Blade is sharp. Handle carefully.
- Do not operate the unit for more than 1 minute at a time. If the unit is in operation for more than 1 minute, allow 1 minute to elapse before turning on the unit again.
- Do not twist, kink or wrap the power cord around the appliance as this may cause the insulation to weaken and split, particularly in the location where it enters the unit.
- Never leave appliance unattended while it is plugged into an outlet.
- Portable – Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
POWER SUPPLY CORD
- A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
- Extension cords may be used if care is exercised. If it is necessary to use an extension cord, it should be positioned so that it does not drape over the counter or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
- The electrical rating of the extension cord must be the same or more than the wattage of the appliance (the wattage is shown on the rating label located on the underside or back of the appliance).
- Avoid pulling or straining the power cord at outlet or appliance connections.
NOTE: Neither Commercial Chef nor the dealer can accept any liability for damage to the product or personal injury resulting from failure to observe the electrical connection procedures.
POLARIZED PLUG
- Your appliance is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
- To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way.
- If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it does not fit, please consult a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature by modifying the plug in any way.
WARNING: Improper use of the power cord may result in electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician if necessary.
BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE
- Carefully unpack the hand blender and remove all packaging materials. You may wipe the exterior of the motor housing with a clean, damp cloth.
- To remove any dust that may have accumulated on the removable parts during packaging, wash the detachable blender shaft and blending beaker with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
CAUTION: Blades are sharp, handle carefully.
WARNING: Do not immerse the motor housing, cord or plug in water or any other liquids. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleansers on any part of the hand blender.
SET UP & USE
PARTS & FEATURES

USING YOUR HAND BLENDER

The hand blender blends, mixes and chops fast and easily. Use it to make soups, smoothies, milk shakes, whipped cream, salsa, purees, dietary and baby food.

Plug the hand blender into a 120 volt 60 Hz AC-only outlet.

Insert the blender shaft into the unit. Turn clockwise to lock it into place.

Place ingredients into the beaker. Then, place the blender into the beaker, immersing it into the ingredients, then select the desired speed on the Control Dial and press the Power button or TURBO button to operate.

When you press the Power button, you can rotate the speed control knob to adjust the speed. Blend the ingredients by moving the unit slowly up and down and in circles to thoroughly combine mixture.
NOTE: Always release the buttons to switch off the hand blender before taking it out of the food. -
Your hand blender comes complete with a handy blending beaker, but can be operated as efficiently in a bowl, pan or other container.

When using directly in a saucepan while cooking, remove the pan from the stove first to avoid overheating the blender unit.
USING THE WHISK
- The Whisk is intended for whipping cream, eggs and sauces.
- Insert the whisk into the unit until you hear a ‘click’. Attach the coupling unit to the motor unit, and turn clockwise so it clicks into place.
- Press either the Power button or TURBO to activate the blender. Release the button after approximately 30 seconds to prevent ingredients splashing.
USING THE MILK FROTHIER
- The Milk Frother is intended for whipping cream, and frothing milk for hot and cold drinks such as cappuccinos, lattes, milkshakes, etc.
- Insert the frothier into the unit until you hear a ‘click’. Attach the coupling unit to the motor unit, and turn clockwise so it clicks into place.
- Press either the Power button or TURBO to activate the blender.
WARNING: To reduce risk of personal injury and/or damage to your hand blender:
- Always inspect attachments before each use.
- Do not use cracked, bent or damaged attachments.
CAUTION: Do not use the hand blender for more than 1 minute consecutively. After 1 minute of use, allow the hand blender to rest for a few minutes before continuing to blend.
HOT BLENDING INSTRUCTIONS
To prevent scalding when mixing or blending hot ingredients, the following
precautions must be observed:
- Use a tall container less than half full or blend small quantities at a time.
- Insert blade end of the hand blender into the container until it is touching the bottom before starting on low speed.
- Take care not to lift the blender shaft out of the hot ingredients while operating the hand blender.
- To use the hand blender in a hot saucepan, be sure to remove the pan from the stove as the hand blender is not designed for use over a heat source.
- To puree hot foods, a certain amount of liquid is always needed. Add cooking liquid, broth, juice, milk or cream, until the desired consistency is reached.
- To avoid scalding, do not stand directly over a container of hot ingredients while operating the hand blender.
HELPFUL HINTS
- For thorough blending, move blade up and down in mixture until smooth.
- To achieve best blending results use deep, tall containers.
- For easy clean-up, unplug hand blender and rinse blending shaft under running water immediately after using.
CAUTION: Hand blender is not designed for crushing ice, mixing cookie dough, bread dough or mashed potatoes.
CARE AND CLEANING
Other than the care and cleaning procedures mentioned in this manual, no other
servicing or maintenance of the unit is required.
IMPORTANT: Do not try to sharpen the cutting edges of the blade. It has
been precision honed at the factory and will be damaged by any attempted
sharpening.
When the hand blender is not in use, unplug the hand blender from the wall
outlet.
CAUTION: Before cleaning, be sure the hand blender has been unplugged
from the outlet. To detach the blender shaft, rotate in a clockwise direction
to unlock from the main body. To make cleaning easier, rinse parts immediately
after blending. The motor housing may be wiped with a damp cloth and dried
thoroughly.
IMPORTANT: Do not immerse the motor housing in water or any other
liquids. Be careful when handling the sharp blades.
The detachable blender shaft and beaker may be hand washed in warm, soapy
water.Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing.
NOTE: Some foods and spices will cause minor discoloration to your hand
blender.
TROUBLESHOOTING & WARRANTY
BEFORE YOU CALL FOR SERVICE
IF THE APPLIANCE FAILS TO OPERATE:
A) Check to make sure that the appliance is plugged in securely. If it is not,
remove the plug from the outlet, wait 10 seconds and plug it in again
securely.
B) Check for a blown circuit fuse or a tripped main circuit breaker. If these
seem to be operating properly, test the outlet with another appliance.
C) This unit is equipped with a motor protector. If it overheats, unplug and
allow to cool before re-starting.
IF NONE OF THE ABOVE SOLVES THE PROBLEM, CONTACT A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN. DO
NOT TRY TO ADJUST OR REPAIR THE APPLIANCE YOURSELF.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Troubleshoot your problem by using the chart below. If the appliance still
does not work properly, contact W Appliance Co. customer service center or the
nearest authorized service center. Customers must never troubleshoot internal
components.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Commercial Chef brand is used under license. Any repair, replacement, or
warranty service, and all questions about this appliance should be directed to
W Appliance Co. at 1 855-855-0294 from
the USA or Puerto Rico.
W Appliance Co. warrants to the original purchaser that the appliance will be
free from defects in material, parts and workmanship for the period designated
for this appliance. The warranty commences the day the appliance is purchased
and covers up to a period of 1 year (12 months) for labor/1 year (12 months)
for parts (manufacturing defects only)/carry in service.
W Appliance Co. agrees that it will, at its option, replace the defective
appliance with either a new or re manufactured appliance equivalent to your
original purchase during the warranty period..
Exclusions: This warranty does not apply to the below:
- If the appearance or exterior of the appliance has been damaged or defaced, altered or modified in design or construction.
- If the appliance original serial number has been altered or removed or cannot be readily determined.
- If there is damage due to power line surge, user damage to the AC power cord or connection to improper voltage source.
- If damage is due to general misuse, accidents or acts of God.
- If repair attempts are done by unauthorized service agents, use of parts other than genuine parts or parts obtained from persons other than authorized service companies.
- On units that have been transferred from the original owner.
- On appliances that have been purchased as refurbished, like new, second-hand, in a “As-Is” or “Final Sale” terms.
- To appliances used in a commercial or rental setting.
- To appliances used in settings other than ordinary household use or used other than in accordance with the provided instructions.
- To damages for service calls for improper installations.
- To glass parts and other accessory items that are included with the unit.
- Transportation and shipping costs associated with the replacement of the unit.
- Food loss for loss due to appliance failure or delay in service, repair or replacement.
- Service calls to instruct you how to use your slow cooker.
- Service calls to repair or replace the house fuse, reset the circuit breaker or correct the wiring in the house.
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY
OF THE CUSTOMER; W Appliance Co. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS
Appliance, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW. ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS
Appliance IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or
consequential damages, or limitations on how long the warranty lasts. In these
cases the above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. This warranty
gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary
from state to state.
