WELCOME

Thanks for buying a GAMMA series amplifier from Acoustic Control Corporation, founded in Van Nuys, California in 1969, and now powered by Guitar Center, the world’s largest retailer of guitars, amps and musical equipment. Acoustic® series amps have been the rig of choice for many legendary musicians, and now GAMMA series amplifiers are bringing new innovation to today’s electric guitarists.

  • The TRUE BLUE High Headroom Speaker in your amp delivers superior sound, dynamics and clarity, thanks to a speaker magnet that’s about twice as massive as the ones used in similarly-priced amps, and careful tuning to ensure ideal electric guitar tone.
  • The wide-open, all-analog clean sound of the BLUE CHANNEL (Channel 1) makes your amp an ideal “pedal platform” for stomp boxes and multi-FX units, while 4 versatile, all-analog voices on Channel 2 let you dial in just the right amount of bite, grunt, or grind for classic and current guitar tones.
  • BLUETOOTH® and aux audio inputs make it simple to bring in the sound of tracks and apps from your smartphone, computer, or other devices, while a phones jack lets you listen with your earbuds or headphones any time you need to keep things quiet for family or neighbors.

HEARING DAMAGE AND PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE SPLs

GAMMA series electric guitar amplifiers are capable of producing extremely loud volume levels that can cause permanent hearing damage to performers, production crews or the audience. Hearing protection is recommended during long-term exposure to high SPLs (sound pressure levels).
Remember, if it hurts, it is definitely too loud! Long term exposure to high SPLs first causes temporary threshold shifts; limiting your ability to hear the actual loudness and exercise good judgment. Repeated long term exposure to high SPLs will cause permanent hearing loss.
Please note the recommended exposure limits in the accompanying table. More information about these limits is available on the US government Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) website at: www.osha.gov.
