OVERVIEW
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Definitions
Whenever used, the following items identify safety and property damage messages and designate a level of hazard seriousness.
This is the safety alert symbol. It alerts you to potential personal injury hazards. Obey all safety messages that follow this symbol to avoid possible injury or death.

CAUTION: To reduce the risk of personal injury and/or product/property damage:
- Make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local main voltage before you connect the appliance.
- The appliance should not be operated in a damp place (such as a bathroom} or in high humidity.
- Do not insert any objects (cutlery, utensils) while the appliance is in operation.
- To reduce the risk of electrocution, never operate this product with wet hands, submerge under water or spill liquids into the product.
- Improper installation may result in the risk of fire, electric shock and or injury to persons.
DANGER
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
- To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
- Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

Preparation for Use
- Thoroughly clean the parts that come into contact with food before you use the appliance for the first time.
- Let hot ingredients cool down before you process them (max. temperature 60°C/140°F).
- Do not use the appliance if the main cord, the plug or other parts are damaged.
- If the main cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by the manufacturer, or at a service center authorized by the dealer or similarly qualified person, in order to avoid a hazard.
- Always unplug the appliance from the outlet before you assemble, disassemble, clean or make adjustments to any of the accessories.
- Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid, or rinse it under the faucet. Please use a moist cloth to clean main body of the appliance.
- Never let the appliance run unattended.
- This appliance is intended for household use only.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Never touch the blades when the appliance is plugged in. The blades are very sharp.
- If the blades get stuck, unplug the appliance before you remove the ingredients that block the blades.
- Do not overload the appliance by putting in too much food and do not operate continuously for more than 30 seconds.
- Do not operate the appliance outdoors. This product is designed for household use only.
- Power plug must be removed from power socket before cleaning, servicing, maintenance or moving the appliance.
- The appliance should be placed on a flat surface when operating to avoid overturning.
- Cut large ingredients into pieces of approximately¾” (2 CM) before processing them.
- Always place the motor unit on a level surface.
Using the Hand Blender
This hand-held immersion blender is intended for
- Blending liquids, e.g. dairy products, sauces, fruit juices, soups, mixed drinks and shakes.
- Mixing soft Ingredients, e.g. eggs.
- Pulverizing nuts, e.g. peanuts, to make peanut butter.
- Pureeing cooked ingredients, e.g. for making baby food.
- Plug the blender into power outlet 120V.
- Attach the blender shaft to the motor unit (Fig.1 ).
- Put the ingredients into a bowl, cup or similar vessel.
- Immerse the blade guard completely in the ingredients (Fig.3).
- Press the power button, then adjust speed dial at the top to switch on the appliance.
- Move the appliance slowly up and down and in circles to blend the ingredients.

Care and Cleaning
- Do not immerse the motor unit or the coupler unit in water.
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Disassemble all the parts.
- Wipe the motor unit with a moist cloth.
- Clean the beaker/shaft, the chopper bowl, the chopper blade unit and the chopper coupling unit in the dishwasher or in warm water with soapy liquid.
- Dry and store them for future use.
Environment
- Do not throw appliance into regular trash.
- Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste; use separate collection facilities.
- Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems available. If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being.
- When replacing old appliances with new ones, the retailer is legally obligated to take back your old appliance for disposal, free of charge.
