INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE FIND A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN FOR INSTALLATION.
Please read the instructions before you install and use the luminaire.
WARNING, CAUTIONS AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

To reduce the risk of death, personal injury or property damage from fire, electric shock, falling parts, cuts/abrasions, and other hazards read all warnings and instructions included with and on the fixture box and all fixture labels.

Before installing, servicing, or performing routine maintenance upon this equipment, follow these general precautions.

Commercial installation, service and maintenance of luminaires should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.

For the installation: If you are unsure about the installation or maintenance of the luminaires, consult a qualified licensed electrician and check your local electrical code.

To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects.

Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit installation.
WARNING: RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRICAL SHOCK -
Turn off electrical power at fuse or circuit breaker box before wiring fixture to the power supply or performing any maintenance.

Verify that supply voltage is correct by comparing it with the luminaire label information.

All wiring connections should be capped with UL approved wire connectors.

WARNING – TURN OFF POWER SUPPLY FROM MAIN CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLING OR SERVICING.
FIELD ADJUSTABLE CCT
Choose preferred CCT using the remote control. Color options available are 3000K, 4000K or 5000K.
RECESSED INSTALLATION

Remove the ceiling tile where the fixture will be located. (Fig. 1)

Rotate troffer 45 degrees to the grid, and carefully insert troffer up into T-bar ceiling grid. Secure safety cable to the back plate of the fixture as needed to meet local seismic requirements. (Fig. 2) Safety cable requirement, cables, and method of attachment to the building to be determined and provided by installer according to local building codes.

Turn the troffer so the light panel is facing down and firmly seated in the T-Bar ceiling grid. (Fig. 3)

Connect power supply as needed. Make sure that all the black wire is connected to Line, the white wire is connected to Neutral, and the green wire is connected firmly to Ground per NEC code. (See General Wiring Diagram)
Note:- For proper installation, first, check the size of the opening compared to the dimensions of the luminaire.
- Make sure all screws and connections are securely fastened.
CABLE SUSPENDED MOUNTING (Sold Separately, provided by installer)
- Attach building mounting points and cables that will support at least 2.5x the weight of the fixture.
- Attach cables to the pre-drilled holes located in the square plate on top of the troffer so that the fixture hangs level. (Fig. 4)
- Connect power supply as needed. Make sure that all the black wire is connected to Line, the white wire is connected to Neutral, and the green wire is connected firmly to Ground per NEC code. (See General Wiring Diagram, Page 1)
Note: Make sure all screws and connections are securely fastened.
FILTER REPLACEMENT Recommended every 2160 hours (Sold Separately, Item# 55523)
- When the indicator light is flickering or every 2160 hours, whichever comes first, replace filter by lifting up on tab to remove old filter and replace with new. (Fig. 5)
- Use a pin to reset the timing counter (or use the remote control).
REMOTE CONTROL
- Battery Type: 2ea – AAA 1.5V
REMOTE CONTROL PAIRING TO FIXTURE
Using a dedicated wall switch or circuit breaker, power off the fixture for
10+ seconds; then power the fixture back on and in the first 3 seconds press the remote control’s Lamp ON/OFF button 3 times. If the fixture flashes 3 times, the pairing was successful.
PAIR CANCELLATION
Using a dedicated wall switch or circuit breaker, power off the fixture for
10+ seconds; then power the fixture back on and in the first 3 seconds press and hold down the Lamp ON/OFF button. If the fixture flashes 6 times, the remote unpairing was successful.
REMOTE CONTROL MEMORY FUNCTION
When the fixture is shut off (with wall switch, breaker, or remote), the last
setting values used on the remote will be stored and will resume when the
fixture is turned back on.
