Rechargeable portable floodlight
Innovative USB rechargeable illuminated stem with no need for separate
batteries. Featuring an internal lithium-ion battery, four colours, dusk/dawn
light sensor and rechargeable remote controller with a range of up to 350m*,
the Marka Lite is a great choice for boat anglers worldwide. With its male 3/8
thread, carabiner & hanging loop the options are endless. Compatible with all
MarkaPole and RotaBlock products.

OPERATION:
- Unscrew base of MarkaLite: note reverse thread — rotate clockwise to loosen, anti-clockwise to tighten
- Hold raised power button to turn on the MarkaLite —light will illuminate for 10 seconds then the automatic light sensor will activate.
- To turn off the MarkaLite, first shroud the light sensor with a cupped hand to force the light to illuminate then hold the power button until the light extinguishes.
NOTE: always switch the MarkaLite off between sessions using the main bower button on the light unit. Leaving the device on standby will cause it to illuminate in storage which may, in extreme cases, damage the internal battery if left completely drained for an extended period of time.
PAIRING:
- Refer to steps 1&2 above
- With the MarkaLite turned on, use a pointed object to hold the pairing button — MarkaLite will illuminate three time.
- Within 5 seconds, hold desired numbered button on Remote until MarkaLite flashes three times
- Your Market ire and Remote are now nadired and will automatically turn off. To use the MarkaLite immediately, hold the raised power button to turn it back on.
- Replace the MarkaLite base and repeat process with any remaining MarkaLite, to a maximum of four per Remote
AUTOMATIC LIGHT SENSOR / STANDBY FUNCTION:
- When switched on, the MarkaLite automatically senses dawn & dusk and illuminates appropriately.
- Override the automatic light sensor by using numbered buttons on the Remote to control the required MarkaLite
CHANGING MARKALITE COLOUR:
- With the MarkaLite illuminated, press the appropriate colour button on the Remote to cycle between available colours
- The MarkaLite colour can also be changed by tapping the power button to scroll through the available colours
CHARGING MARKALITE:
- Low battery will be indicated by the MarkaLite flashing of the LED.
- Unscrew base and turn off MarkaLite
- Connect to any 5V USB power source using the supplied cable
- Internal LED indicates charge status:
red = charging
green = fully charged
CHARGING REMOTE:
- Low battery will be indicated by intermittent flashing of the LED
- Open rubber USB cover using a baiting needle or similar
- Connect remote to any 5V USD power source using the supplied cable.
- Internal LED indicates charge status:
red = charging
green = fully charged
NOTE: Ensure that the MarkaLite and/or Remote is completely dry before
attempting to charge. While both devices can be used in temperatures down to
-20C/-4f, avoid recharging in temperatures below 5C/41f: doing so may cause
irreparable damage to the lithium-ion battery. During periods of extended cold
weather, it is highly recommended to fully charge the MarkaLite and/or Remote
at room temperature before departure.

The above figures are quoted as a guide only.
Battery life depends on a number of factors, including (but not limited to)
ambient temperature, condition & age of battery, charging habits etc.
MAINTENANCE:
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use solvents as this may cause irreparable damage.
- Regular use is nightly recommended to Keep the internal lithium-ion battery in prime condition. Run a full discharge cycle at least once every four months to avoid shortening the lifespan of the internal battery.
- IP65 rating means that the Remote can withstand water jets from any direction, for example rain or boat spray. It is not designed to be submerged for any period of time.
- IP67 rating means that the MarkaLite can withstand being submerged at a depth of up to lm for a duration of up to 30 minutes. It is not designed to be submerged for an extended period of time.
STORAGE:
Before storing, ensure that the MarkaLite and/or Remote is completely dry.
Store in a cool, dry place and ensure that the battery is topped up to
approximately half of its capacity. Long term storage of depleted lithium
batteries can cause irrepairable damage to the cells which is not covered
under guarantee.
