Notice to user/patient in case of serious incident
Any serious incident that has occurred in relation to the product, should be
reported to the local contact, who reports to the manufacturer, and the
competent authority of the country in which the user/patient is established.
Compliances and Standards
Human Care is an ISO 13485:2016 certified Swedish medical device company. The Quality Management System is in compliance with US 21 CFR part 820. The product is CE marked in accordance with EU Directive 93/42/EEC (MDD) and/or EU Regula-tion 2017/745 (MDR), as class I medical device. The CE mark is on the product. This product has been tested in accordance with ISO 11199-2:2005.
About our products
On delivery
Check the following before using your new product:
- Check that no damage has occurred during transport (if this is the case, please immedia-tely inform the delivery agent).
- Check that the number and type (s) of products detailed on the delivery certificate agree with the goods delivered.
- Check that the delivery is of the desired model and type of product.
Please contact us immediately in case of any delivery problem.
Return or refund
If any product has to be returned for any rea-son, please contact us to obtain
a claim number and advice on how to proceed. The goods should be returned in
complete and undamaged condition in their original packa-ging. The following
information should accompany any product on its return. The product’s
identifi-cation number, delivery date, the date the user took possession of
the aid, the date of the pro-duct’s last service, the person whom we should
contact about the fault, whether it be the user or another, and the nature of
the fault. Human Care HC AB reserves the right to inspect the returned
product. If no fault can be found, the item will be returned to the user.
Transport costs may then be chargeable.
Product lifetime
The product´s expected lifetime is seven (7) years, if the product is used as
intended and maintained according to the manufacturer´s instructions,
depending on the intensity of use and maximum load applied during use. If the
product label is no longer legible, the product should be discarded.
Additional Warnings
- Ensure that all bolts are securely faste-ned before using the rollator!
- Brakes must be in the parked/locked position before sitting on the rollator!
- DO NOT adjust brake tension until whe-els lose molding sheen!
- DO NOT hang anything on backstrap or it may break!
Safety
There are three grades of importance attached to the information in the user
manual.
- Warning! Risk for personal injury or serious malfunction.
- Important! Risk for damage to material or malfunction.
- Note! Important information that facilitates work procedures or handling.
Recycling of products for disposal
When the product is to be disposed of (recycled), separate the frame from the
other parts. This entails removing screws etc. and drilling out rivets, and
then sorting on the basis of material – metal, plastic or mixed. The products
are mainly comprised of steel tubing and other metal parts. Examples of parts
that comprise of a mixture of materials are plastic front forks (with
bearings), wheels with bearings.
Note! Since different municipalities/recycling companies handle recycling material in different ways, it is best, if in doubt, to contact your municipality.
Environmentally friendly
Human Care products are produced using methods aimed at impacting the
environment as little as pos-sible, throughout their life cycle. This means
that when a product is disposed of, its parts can be recycled. Products with a
long service life are beneficial to our fragile environment and equate to
‘environment in mind’ products
Human Care HC AB is a member of REPA, a nationwide system for the recycling of
packaging.
Areas of use
Staffan trolley walkers and RA-rollators are sta-ble aids that are suitable for use both indoors and out. The trolley walker and RA-rollator are available in two models, low and high.

User information trolley walker
Unfolding
- Move the table aside and unfold the frame.
- Push the side tubes out sideways a little and then unfold them.
- Important! Make sure the latches properly attach the side tubes to the frame.
- Ensure that the handles are in minimum position; then fit the table and draw out the wing nuts.
- Adjust the handles to suitable positions.
Folding up
Before folding up the trolley, place the handles in minimum position. This is
to reduce wear to the brake cables. The trolley walker is folded up in exactly
the opposite way to which it is unfolded. Place the table on top when the
trolley has been folded up as shown in the picture.
Warning! Risk for pinching in connection with folding up
Height adjustment
- Adjust the height of the support table as required by loosening the wing nuts.
- Adjust the handles to the required positions by loosening the wing nuts under the arm supports.
Important! Do not raise the support table above the “MAX” marking on the sides of the handle tubes.

Unfolding
Make sure the handles are in minimum position before unfolding.
- Push the side tubes out sideways a little and then unfold them.
- Important! Make sure the latches properly attach the side tubes to the frame.
- Adjust the handles to suitable positions.
Folding up
Before folding up the trolley, place the handles in minimum position. This is
to reduce wear to the brake cables. The RA-rollator is folded up in exactly
the oppo-site way to which it is unfolded.
Warning! When folding up, beware of the risk of pinching.
Height adjustment
- Set the RA supports at the required height by loosening the wing nuts.
- Adjust the handles to suitable positions by loosening the wing nuts under the arm supports.
Important! Do not raise the RA supports above the “MAX” marking on the sides of the handle tubes.

- Read all warnings and instructions carefully before using the RA-rollator/TW.
- Ensure that the RA-rollator/TW is properly unfolded before use.
- The RA-rollator/TW may only be used as a support for walking.
- Never stand on the RA-rollator/TW.
- Do not use the product on stairs or escalators.
- Be extra careful when using the RA-rollator/TW on slopes or uneven surfaces.
- Never sit on the RA-rollator/TW and roll yourself forward with your feet.
- Distribute weight evenly to prevent the RA-rollator/TW from tipping when you sit on it.
- Always set the parking brake before using the RA-rollator/TW for support while sitting down or getting up.
- Do not place anything on a folded up RA-rollator/TW when it is in storage or being transported as this may cause damage to it.
- Do not store the RA-rollator/TW close to a heat source as this could cause damage to some details.
- Be careful when you handle the RA-rollator/TW if it has been exposed to abnormally high or low temperatures to avoid injuries.
- Do not store the RA-rollator/TW outdoors.
- Save the user instructions for future use.
Parking brake
Push brake handle downwards to park.
Brake
Pull brake-handle inwards to brake.
NOTE! Constant breaking leads to excessive wearing of wheels and brakes.
Brake adjustment
If the brakes are not working properly, adjust the brake cable by screwing
outwards.
Cleaning and service
- Important! When changing parts of the rollator, use only Human Care parts to ensure continued CE vali-dation.
- Important! Do not alter the rollator yourself.
- Important! Check the rollator regularly to ensure its continued safety to the user.

Warranty
Human Care HC AB has high demands on our product quality and our warranty
cover material and manufacturing faults of our products. The warranty is not
covering wear and tear on wheel, brakes, handles grips and surface damages
arisen after delivery. The warranty is valid if the product is used in the
intended way and the maintenance instructions have been followed. The product
identity needs to be readable. The product shall not have been modified or
changed in any way after the delivery from Human Care. The warranty time is 1
year if noting else has been stated in contract. In case of product complaint
please contact us for further instructions.
The following information is needed to create a product complaint: Id
number of the product, date for when the last maintenance were performed,
customer contact person and failure description.
