Please keep in mind that the Track does not have an on/off button and only
uses power when moving. Recharge the device with the included power cable.
To activate the BAGTAG Track, download the BAGTAG application in the Apple App
Store or Google Play Store.

Show current location
You can always see the Track’s current location on the map.

Start first journey
Check-in and find flight
With an electronic bag tag:
The Track is automatically added to each journey you take. You can disable
this by going to ‘Devices’, then tapping on the three dots (top right) and
disabling auto-add.
Without an electronic bag tag:
Check in for your flight by selecting the airline in the BAGTAG app, which
will redirect you to the airline’s check-in process. The BAGTAG app will have
found your flight after check-in and your journey can begin.
Charging & battery power
Charging
Charge the Track with the enclosed cable. Once plugged in, you will see a
light on the side of the tracker:
- A red light means that the battery is charging.
- A green light means that charging is complete.
- An intermittent white light indicates that the device is being updated.
Battery power
The Track does not have an on/off switch and will automatically turn on and
off when it’s on the move.
The battery status indicates how much battery power is remaining. It’s worth
checking the battery level before using the device.
You will receive a low battery notification when there is less than 20%
battery power remaining. The more you use the Track, the more battery power it
uses.
Resetting & handeling
Resetting
In case the Track is charged but doesn’t work, reset the device by gently
pushing a paperclip in the pinhole next to the LED for 10 seconds. Release the
paperclip when a white light blinks, indicating that the tracker has been
reset. A blue light indicates that the Track has started working again.
Handeling
The Track is made of durable plastic but it has sensitive electronic
components inside. It can get damaged if dropped, burned, punctured, or
crushed, or if it comes in contact with liquid. Don’t use a damaged Track,
such as one with a broken cover, as it may cause injury.
Please note!
Always place the tracker in the center of your bag to maximise the separation
distance between the tracker and yourself. At all times, try to minimise the
time that you are in close proximity to the BAGTAG Track.
