Overview

Fantech RSI Force Racing Wheel is specially designed to support PC, PS4, XBOX ONE, XBOX SERIES S & X. RSI features built in force-feedback vibration, and is compatible with games that support it as well. Fantech RS I is designed to match the actual shape of the racing steering wheel and also includes H-shifter and three pedals, as well as both 270°/ 900° degrees of rotation, which lets you enjoy a real racing experience.

Function Introduction

Program Functions (without memory):

Introduction:
– Program source keys: A,B,X,Y,L1/5/LB,L2/7/LT,R1 /6/RB,R2/8/RT.
– Programmable keys: Gas Pedal, Brake Pedal, Clutch, Gear Shift, Left trigger (L2/7/LB), right trigger (R2/8/RB),L3/11 /SL,R3/12/SR, Gear Shift lever.
Programming setting:
– Press the “FROG” button for 5 seconds, and wait for the mode LED to flash quickly.
– Press the button you wish to reprogram once, and wait for the mode LED to flash slowly.
– Press the button which you wish to set onto the previous button, and then the mode LED will stay on, indicating that the button has been set.
Programming Clear (Per Key):
– Press the “FROG” button for 5 seconds, which is indicated by the mode LED flashing quickly.
– Press the programmed button once, which is indicated by the mode LED flashing slowly.
– Press the programmed button again, which is indicated by a solid mode LED, and the programming step will be cleared.
Program Clear All:
– Press the “PROD” button for 5 seconds, which is indicated by the mode LED flashing quickly.
– Press and hold the MENU button for 5 seconds, the mode LED will tum off, and all programmed functions will be cleared.
Program Exit:
– Press the “FROG” button for 5 seconds, which is indicated by the mode LED flashing quickly, then press the “FROG” key again to exit. The previous data will remain unchanged.
– Press the “FROG” button for 5 seconds, which is indicated by the mode LED flashing quickly, if there is no action at this time, the wheel will automatically exit programming mode.

Calibration:

Foot Pedal Calibration:
– Press the ‘L1.1.2+L3 buttons at the same lime, and wait for the LED to flash. quickly.
– Then press the right pedal, middle pedal, and left pedal in sequence. After doing so, the LED will flash slowly, and then will flash quickly after letting go of the pedals.
– After the Mode LED flashes slowly, press the 4o + E button, which will result in the LED lighting up noting the completion of calibration.
Steering Wheel Center Calibration:
– Angle Calibration: Press the A button 8, the right D-PAD button at the same time, then release them after powering on. After doing so, the LED light will be off and the steering wheel will stop at the center position after rotating to both ways. If the center is not correct, then turn the wheel to the desired angle, and hold it, then press 0 +I’ to exit calibration mode, which is indicated by a solid LED.

3-Pedal Introduction:

The foot pedal includes a clutch which can only be used in games with a clutch or manual transmission mode
The left pedal is the clutch, the middle pedal is the brake, and the right pedal is the gas.
If the game does not support the clutch function, the clutch pedal will not have any function or may function as a brake.
In games that support the clutch function, if the clutch is set and pressed, the vehicle will not move when pushing the gas or the brake pedal.

How to use the H-Shifter:

Connect the 6+R gear shift lever, then the steering wheel will be locked in the steering wheel protocol mode, and will require a game to function.
The function of the LO-HI button on the right side of the gear shift lever is to switch between high and low gears. For example, when the gear starts from the low gear of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, short press the switch, the gear will be changed to the high gear of 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, and the gear indicator LED will stay on at the same time. Short press the switch again to switch to the low gears, and the gear indicator LED will turn off at the same time.
The function of switching between high and low gears needs to be supported by the game. (Currently only truck games support this feature).
The “0” button on the left side of the gear shift lever is the handbrake function. Press and hold this button to start the handbrake state and release it to release the handbrake state. (Requires a supported game or needs to be set in the in-game settings.)

Function introduction of each console

PS4 function introduction:

Insert the matching foot pedal cable into the corresponding interface of the steering wheel and insert the original PS4 controller into the marked USB port on rear of the the steering wheel base (the guild controller should be turned off).
Power on the PS4 and turn it on, insert the steering wheel cable into the USB port of the PS4.
After the connection is completed, the blue light on the steering wheel will stay on, and the indicator light on the PS4 controller will also stay on. After the guidance is successful, the indicator light on the PS4 controller will light up, and then you can enter the console to start the game or set the relevant functions of PS4.
During the operation of the PS4, short press the “Home” button on the steering wheel once to return to the HOME interface, and long press for 1 second to go to the shutdown setting interface.
After the gear shift lever is connected, it will be automatically converted and locked to steering wheel mode. The gear shift lever function requires to be used in a supported game. Otherwise, the gear lever will not function. And this mode has no vibration function in the game.

XBOX ONE function introduction:

Insert the matching foot pedal cable into the corresponding interface of the steering wheel and insert the original XBOX ONE controller into the marked USB port on the rear of the steering wheel, (the controller should be fumed off).
Power on the XBOX ONE, insert the steering wheel cable into the USB port of the XBOX ONE.
After the connection is completed, the green light on the steering wheel will stays o, and the indicator light on the XBOX ONE controller will also stay on, then you can enter the console to start the game or set the relevant functions of the XBOX ONE.
During the operation of the XBOX ONE, short press the “HOME. button on the steering wheel (equivalent to the navigation button of the original controller) to return to the HOME interface, and long press the HOME button for 1 second to go to the shutdown setting interface.
On the HOME interface, press the Y key on the steering wheel once to enter the quick search page.
After the gear shill lever is connected, it will automatically switch and lock to steering wheel mode, which requires a supported game to function.
While gaming on the XBOX ONE, pre. 63 to share screenshots as well.

PC function introduction:

The steering wheel input default is D-INPUT mode after being powered-on, and the red indicator light will stay on.
Press and hold the HOME button for 3 seconds, after which the LED will flash 3 times, to notify the switch to X-INPUT mode. Afterwards, the LED indicator light will stay on. If you wish to change back, then press and hold the HOME button for 3 seconds to switch to D-INPUT mode.

Troubleshooting

If the mode light does not light up when the steering when is plugged into the console, please re-plug it or check whether the connected gamepad can work normally.
When the steering wheel does not respond and the console screen does not move, the console may crash unexpectedly, please restart the console.
When the steering wheel is not operated property in the game, please reconnect the steering wheel. Pay attention when you unplug the gear shift lever and reinsert it, you need to exit the game and re-enter. The gear shift lever function is only supported in games that support steering wheel mode.
When connecting the original controller, the controller must be turned off, to prevent the controller from being connected to the host and lead to unsuccessful guidance.
Because the programming function has memory, if you feel that the key position is wrong, please clear it according to the “Program Function -Program Clear Section”.
If the direction or the pedal is not in place or does not return to the center, please correct the pedal according to the “Foot Pedal Calibration Section”.
If you find that the steering wheel angle is deviated after power-on, you can adjust the angle to your satisfaction according to the “Steering Wheel Center Calibration Section”.

Precautions

Please read through and familiarize yourself the manual before using.
Do not hit, drop, or misuse the steering wheel.
Do not disassemble, modify or try to repair by yourself.
Avoid storing the steering wheel in humid areas or areas with a large amount of dust.
After powering on, the steering wheel will do an automatic calibration, where the steering wheel will turn both ways. During this time, avoid holding the wheel due to the risk of injury.
