IMPORTANT NOTES
MDC2 BluOS-D can be integrated with the following compatible NAO products – C369, C389 and C399.

INSTALL MDC2 BLUOS-D

STEP A
Remove the MDC Classic cover and top cover by loosening and taking out the screws holding them in place. STEP B
This PCB assembly includes static sensitive components, take appropriate precautions.

  1. Take note of the unique Wi-Fi MAC address (the same can be found on the MDC2 BluOS-D metal back plate). This is needed when configuring the MDC2 BluOS-D.
  2. Remove the protective tape from the contact terminals.
  3. Slide MDC2 BluOS-D module through the rail pushing all the way to the corresponding connectors.
  4. Make sure MDC2 BluOS-D module is locked in.

Use corresponding screws to fix back into place MDC2 BluOS-D module and top cover.NAD-MDC2-BluOS-D-Bluesound-Module-05

What is Dirac Live?
Dirac Live® is a state-of-the-art digital room correction technology that employs a sophisticated analysis of your speakers and listening room to optimize the speakers’ overall audio performance and remove sound colorations introduced by the room. The result is substantially improved musical staging, clarity, voice intelligibility, as well as a deeper and tighter bass.
Note: Dirac Live LE for NAD is limited to calculating9 corrections in frequencies between 20Hz and 5oOHz.

Dirac Live Full calculates corrections for the full frequency range, 20Hz- 20kHz, improving not only the bass but also higher Trequencies such as vocals and musical instruments

  1. Plug in your NAD product that supports Dirac Live LE
    Dirac Live Room Correction should only be conducted once you have fully configured your home theater device.

  2. Download the Dirac Live LE for NAD app
    For a full frequency range upgrade, download Dirac Live Full at nadelectronics.com/dirac-live.
    NOTE! Dirac Live LE for NAD must be installed before upgrading to the full version.

  3. Follow on-screen instructions
    Start your NAD product and Dirac Live LE for NAD/Full on your PC or Mac. Make sure both devices are connected to the same network. Then, simply follow setup instructions.
