HOW TO USE YOUR WAND BARRELS
CREATE CURLS AND WAVES
- Always begin with dry hair. Hold the wand over your head with the tip pointing down. Then, starting from the roots, wrap a 1-2″ section of hair around the barrel.
- Hold for a few seconds, then slide the wand out to release the curl. For a relaxed finish, gently tug on the curl or lightly brush out the hair.
ENHANCE NATURAL CURLS
- To enhance natural texture using the 4″ wand barrel, start with completely dry curls. Wrap inconsistent or frizzy curls around the barrel to refresh and define.
- Note: For optimal results, style in sections that are no larger than 4″.
- Follow instructions as listed above, repeating until desired look is achieved.
- Pro tip: Alternate wrapping direction for a more organic look.
CLIP BARRELS
- Always begin with dry hair. Insert the tip of a 1-2″ section of hair into the clamp and roll the iron upwards toward the scalp.
- While rolling, make sure the hair does not overlap itself around the barrel. The entire section of hair must be evenly wrapped around the barrel.
- Hold the iron until the heat has fully penetrated the hair section. Then carefully open the clamp and release the curl.
- Repeat this for the remaining sections of hair. For a loose wavy curl, tug slightly on the curled section before allowing it to cool.
