Working Advice
Working advice for cleaning with detergents

  • Only use cleaning agents suitable specifically for high-pressure washers.
Detergents must not be used undiluted. The products are safe to use as they contain no acids, alkalis or substances which are detrimental to the environment. We recommend that the detergents are kept out of the reach of children. If detergent comes into contact with the eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water and if swallowed contact a doctor immediately.

  • Comply with the application, disposal and warning instructions of the detergent manufacturers.

We recommend using cleaning agent sparingly in the interest of environmental protection. Observe the recommended dilution on the detergent label.

Recommended cleaning method

  1. Step 1: Attach the trio nozzle and remove the heavy dirt.
  2. Step 2: Attach the foam bottle and spray on the detergent sparingly.
  3. Step 3: Rinse off the loosened dirt and detergent using the trio nozzle.
Note: When cleaning a vertical surface spray off dirt/deter-gent from the bottom and work in an upwards direction. Rinse from the top and work downwards.

Use alternative water sources
This high-pressure washer will self-prime and can draw water from water tanks and natural water sources. It is IMPORTANT that the water is clean and the BOSCH inlet filter is clear and fitted to the machine.

Open tanks/containers and natural water sources
Use the self-priming accessory kit comprising:

  • Inlet strainer with non-return valve
  • 3 m reinforced supply hose
  • Universal coupling to the pressure washer

This enables the pressure washer to draw water up to 0.5 m above the water level in the source. This can take up to approx. 60 seconds.
Submerge the 3 m hose in water to displace the air. Connect the 3 m supply hose to the pressure washer ensuring that the inlet strainer remains submerged in the water source. Turn on the machine and activate the trigger with the Lance disconnected. If water does not come out after 60 seconds, switch off and check all connections. If water comes out, switch off the pressure washer and connect the spray gun and spray lance for operation.
It is important to ensure that all hose and coupling connections are of good quality, air-tight and that all washers are in good condition and correctly seated in place. Failure to do so may affect the self-priming performance.

Water Tanks with outlet connections
When connecting the pressure washer to a water tank with a suitable tap outlet, first connect the supply hose (not provided) to the tank outlet, open the tap to allow the water to displace all the air in the hose and then connect to the pressure washer.

Having two filters (internal and external) increases the protection from debris entering the machine and therefore extends product life.
Ensure both filters are kept clean and clear of debris at all time.

Environmental Protection
Chemicals dangerous to the environment must not be allowed to enter the ground, ground water or ponds, streams, etc.
For the use of cleaning agents, observe the instructions on the package and the prescribed concentration exactly.
For the cleaning of motor vehicles the local regulations should be observed: Do not allow oil sprayed off to enter into the ground water. Recycle raw materials instead of waste disposal. Recycle raw materials instead of disposing of them.

Battery Maintenance
Use the following procedures to enable optimum usage of the battery:

  • Protect the battery against moisture and water.
  • Store the machine and battery only within a temperature range between –20 °C and 50 °C . As an example, do not leave the battery in the car in summer.
  • The battery must not be stored within the product but stored separately.
  • Do not leave the battery in the product in direct sunlight.
  • The ideal storage condition for the battery is 5 °C.
  • Occasionally clean the venting slots of the battery using a soft, clean and dry brush.

A significantly reduced working period after charging indicates that the battery is used and must be replaced.

  6. Trademarks. This License does not grant permission to use the trade names, trademarks, service marks, or product names of the Licensor, except as required for reasonable and customary use in describing the origin of the Work and reproducing the content of the NOTICE file.

  7. Disclaimer of Warranty. Unless required by applicable law or agreed to in writing, Licensor provides the Work (and each Contributor provides its Contributions) on an “AS IS” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or implied, including, without limitation, any warranties or conditions of TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. You are solely responsible for determining the appropriateness of using or redistributing the Work and assume any risks associated with Your exercise of permissions under this License.

  8.  Limitation of Liability. In no event and under no legal theory, whether in tort (including negligence), contract, or otherwise, unless required by applicable law (such as deliberate and grossly negligent acts) or agreed to in writing, shall any Contributor be liable to You for damages, including any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages of any character arising as a result of this License or out of the use or inability to use the Work (including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill, work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all other commercial damages or losses), even if such Contributor has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

  9. Accepting Warranty or Additional Liability. While redistributing the Work or Derivative Works thereof, You may choose to offer, and charge a fee for, acceptance of support, warranty, indemnity, or other liability obligations and/or rights consistent with this License. However, in accepting such obligations, You may act only on Your own behalf and on Your sole responsibility, not on behalf of any other Contributor, and only if You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold each Contributor harmless for any liability incurred by, or claims asserted against, such Contributor by reason of your accepting any such warranty or additional liability.
