“Before setting the Vitrox mount adapter on your camera, please read
this manual carefully for your proper or better use of the adapter
Name of each part
Upgrading and installation of firmware

Download the latest firmware from the official website (http://www.viltrox.com),
unzip it and get a file with the extension “.ecp”; -
Connect the mount adapter to the computer through a Type=C cable; then a USB flash disk with the drive letter “EF-L UPDATA” appears on the computer;

Copy the “ecp” file in Step 1 to the “EF-L UPDATA” USB flash disk;

If the upgrade is successful, the mount adapter will be reset and restarted after the data is updated. A “txt” file with the version information is displayed in the “EF-L UPDATA” USB flash disk, which contains the upgrade instructions;

Disconnect the mount adapter from the computer to complete firmware update.

Product Function
VILTROX EF-L Pro Mount Adapter is for Canon EF/EF-S lens to Leica/Panasonic/SigmaL mount body, which enhances the expandability of L mount system. It supports lens anti-shake and mode switch (0-A), as well as supports aperture adjustment, auto focus and EXIF information transmission. Its firmware can be upgraded through the Type-C interface. It is designed with the electroplated brass rotary lock to avoid looseness after lens wear.
Make sure the camera is compatible with the lens before using the adapter.

product. In order to help you refer later at any time, please take good care
of the manual.
Attentions
- The functions of some EF/EF-S lenses are not available due to different kinds of cameras.
- Mounting this lens adapter will not affect the usage of lens.
- If the lens used is heavier than the camera, please hold the lens when moving cameras and shooting
- The max aperture and vision range may be changed since the mix focus distance of the lens would be added as this lens adapter is mounted.
Mounting and detaching the adapter
Mounting procedures
1. Install the EF/EF-S series lens on the adapter ring
Align the red dot of the lens latch on the mount adapter with the position of
the EF lens mounting mark, then align the mounting mark on the Canon EF lens
with the red dot of the lens latch on the mount adapter, and rotate the lens
latch counterclockwise to make it locked tight with the lens mount (1).
Align the red dot of the lens latch on the mount adapter with the position of the EF lens mounting mark, then align the mounting mark (white square) on the Canon EF=S lens with the same mark on the mount adapter, and rotate the lens latch counterclockwise to make it locked tight with the lens mount (2).
2. Installation of adapter ring to the camera
Align the camera mounting mark (red circle) on the adapter ring with the same
mark on the
camera, and then turn the adapter ring clockwise until you hear a click (©)
Detaching procedures
1. Remove the adapter ring with the EF/EF-S series lens from the camera
Turn off the power of the camera, press and hold the lens release button of
the camera; At the same time, rotate the adapter ring counterclockwise, and
remove it when the adapter ring stops rotating.
2. Remove the EF/EF-S series lens from the adapter ring
Rotate the lens latch on the mount adapter clockwise and remove the lens when
the lens latch stops rotating.
