SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before use make sure to read all of the below instructions in order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the best results from the appliance. Make sure to keep this manual in a safe place. If you give or transfer this appliance to someone else make sure to also include this manual.
In case of damage caused by user failing to follow the instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

  1. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
  2. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
  3. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
  4. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  5. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  6. Do not allow children to use the blender without supervision.
  7. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
  8. Warning: Potential risk of injuries from misuse.
  9. Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the appliance as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming.
  10. Before inserting the plug into the mains socket, please check that the voltage and frequency comply with the specifications on the rating label.
  11. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use and before cleaning.
  12. Ensure that the mains cable is not hung over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and open flames.
  13. Do not immerse the appliance or the mains plug in water or other liquids. There is danger to life due to electric shock!
  14. To remove the plug from the plug socket, pull the plug. Do not pull the power cord.
  15. Do not touch the appliance if it falls into water. Remove the plug from its socket, turn off the appliance and send it to an authorized service center for repair.
  16. Do not plug or unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
  17. Never attempt to open the housing of the appliance, or to repair the appliance yourself. This could cause electric shock.
  18. Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
  19. This appliance is not designed for commercial use.
  20. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
  21. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
  22. Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
  23. If you want to blend directly in the saucepan, you  should take the saucepan away from the stove first and let it cool down slightly. Do not blend any food at a temperature that is higher than 40⁰C, otherwise your hand blender could get overheated.
  24. Take special care when preparing food for babies, the elderly and infirm. Always ensure that the hand blender shaft is thoroughly sterilized. Use a sterilizing solution in accordance with the sterilizing solution manufacturers’ instructions.
  25. Never touch the blades while the machine’s plugged in.
  26. Keep fingers, hair, clothing, and utensils away from moving parts.
  27. Never blend hot oil or fat.
  28. Never use an unauthorized attachment.
  29. Regarding the instructions for cleaning the surfaces which come in contact with food, speed settings and operating times, please refer to the below paragraph of the manual.

Caution:

  1. Do not use the appliance to blend very hard and/or dry foods. Do not use it to crush ice.
  2. Never blend hot oil or fat.
  3. Never run the appliance without load more than 15 seconds, otherwise the lifespan of the appliance may be shortened.
  4. Blades are very sharp, handle with care. Ensure that the hand-held blender is unplugged from the power outlet before assembling or removing attachments.

BEFORE FIRST USE

  1. Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all packaging material.
  2. Clean the shaft and blade of your appliance in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before assembling back.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

To use the blender
* Continuous operation time for each cycle should not exceed 30 seconds, and after two consecutive cycles, the appliance needs to be cooled for at least 3 minutes.

  1. Fit the power handle inside the blender shaft, turn and lock.
  2. Put the plug into an appropriate power outlet. To avoid splashing, place the blade in the food before switching on.
  3. Hold the container steady. Then press either speed button (use low speed for slower blending to reduce splashing).
  4. To stop the appliance, release the speed button.
  5. Don’t let liquid get above the join between the power handle and blender shaft.
  6. If your blender gets blocked, unplug before cleaning.
  7. After use, take out the plug from the power outlet.

Notes:

  • The appliance blends and mixes fast and easily. Use it to make sauces, soups, mayonnaise, purees, dietary and baby food, mixed drinks or cocktails. You can operate the stick blender in any bowl, pan or other containers.
  • For saucepan blending, take the pan off the heat and let it cool down, otherwise your hand blender could overheat.
  • To avoid splashing, insert the stick blender into the vessel first, then start operation.

To use the chopper
* Continuous operation time for each cycle should not exceed 15 seconds, and after two consecutive cycles, the appliance needs to be cooled for at least 3 minutes.

  1. Place the chopper bowl on a clean and level surface. Fit the chopper blade over the pin in the bowl.

  2. Remove any bones and cut food into 1-2 cm cubes. Add the food into the bowl. The max quantity of food should not exceed 200g in each chopping.

  3. Attach the chopper cover onto the bowl, align and turn to lock it.

  4. Fit the power handle into the center of the chopper cover. Align and turn to lock the power handle.

  5. Put the plug into an appropriate power outlet.

  6. Hold the bowl steady. Press the low or high speed button to operate.

  7. To stop the appliance, release the speed button.

  8. After use, take out the plug from the power outlet.

Notes:

  • You can chop meat, cheese, vegetables, bread, biscuits and nuts. Don’t chop hard foods such as coffee beans, ice cubes, spices or chocolate, otherwise you will damage the blade.
  • After chopping, for safety, you should disassemble the power handle from the chopper firstly, then remove the chopper cover. Never remove the chopper cover with the power handle in place.

To use the beater
* Continuous operation time for each cycle should not exceed 1 minute, and after two consecutive cycles, the appliance needs to be cooled for at least 3 minutes.

  1. Insert the wire whisk into the whisk collar. Insert the power handle into the other side of the whisk collar, turn and lock it.
  2. Place your food in a container.
  3. Put the plug into an appropriate power outlet.
  4. Place the whisk in the food container. To avoid splashing, start on the low speed. Move the whisk clockwise.
  5. To stop the appliance, release the speed button.
  6. After use, take out the plug from the power outlet.

Notes:

  • You can whip light ingredients such as egg whites, cream, instant desserts, eggs and sugar for whisked sponges.
  • Do not whisk heavier mixtures such as margarine and sugar, you’ll damage the whisk.
  • Do not whisk more than 4 egg whites or 400ml (0.75pt) cream.
  • Do not let liquid get above the whisk wire.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Before disassembling or cleaning, unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
  2. Disassemble the power handle.
  3. Clean the blender shaft / chopper bowl / whisk in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry these parts thoroughly before assembling back.
  4. Wipe the outer surface of the power handle with a damp cloth, and then dry it thoroughly.
  5. Never wash the power handle in water or any other liquids.
  6. Do not touch the sharp blade.
  7. Except the whisk, chopper blade, chopper bowl and cover, other parts cannot be cleaned in a dish-washer.

If you have a defective product, you can directly go back to the point of purchase.
Defects which arise due to improper handling of the device and malfunctions due to interventions and repairs by third parties or the fitting of non- original parts are not covered by this guarantee. Always keep your receipt, without the receipt you can’t claim any form of warranty. Damage caused by not following the instruction manual, will lead to a void of warranty, if this results in consequential damages then we will not be liable. Neither can we hold responsible for material damage or personal injury caused by improper use or if the instruction manual are not properly executed. Damage to accessories does not mean free replacement of the whole appliance. In such case please contact our service department. Broken glass or breakage of plastic parts is always subject to a charge. Defects to consumables or parts subjected to wearing, as well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the warranty and are to be paid.
