SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
- Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
- Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the appliance.
- After unwrapping the appliance check for possible faults or damages.
- The appliance is intended for indoor use or for use in weatherproof areas only. Do not use it for purposes it is not intended for.
- Ensure that no water and / or other liquids get inside the appliance.
- Remove the batteries if you do not use the appliance for an extended period of time.
- In case any operating elements are damaged, do not try to repair it on your own. In such case a professional should carry out the repair.
- Do not store in damp areas or in high-temperature areas.
- The device is not suitable for milling fine-grained kitchen salt or rock salt.
- The appliance is suitable for pepper grains and sea salt crystals milling only.
- The appliance is not suitable for milling condiments/products other than these specified in this manual.

Gravity sensor: The appliance is activated when the grinding part is directed downwards. Whether the appliance is switched on or off depends on the position of the grinding part in relation to the Earth gravity field.
INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
- Holding the appliance in a vertical position.
- Detach the housing from pepper compartment by rotating the pepper compartment in anticlockwise direction. (fig. 1)
- Place 6×1.5V AA batteries (not included) in the battery compartment. Pay attention to the polarity +/‐ markings. (fig. 2)
- Insert the battery compartment back into the housing, and lock them tightly.
OPERATION

Place the appliance in a vertical direction. Open the pepper compartment lid. (fig.3)

Fill some pepper or sea salt, up to 2/3 of the compartment’s height, into the pepper compartment and re‐assemble the unit. (fig.4)

Turn the adjustment wheel to get the desired milling of pepper or salt: Clockwise for a finer milling; Anti‐clockwise for coarser milling. (fig.5)
ATTENTION: Do not touch the adjustment wheel while the appliance is operation. -
Tilt the appliance at a 90°angle or more over your food to grind pepper automatically. (fig.6)
Caution: Do not mill condiments directly above steaming meals.
CLEANING
- Before cleaning, make sure the batteries are removed from the appliance.
- Do not immerse the mill in liquid or put it in a dishwasher. Do not use with wet hands.
- Use only a soft dry cloth to clean, do not use cleaning products or detergent.
- In case the ceramic grinding part is jammed, twist the adjustment wheel in anti-clockwise direction to the larger grain size. The adjustment wheel and ceramic part A (as show in the picture) can also be taken off if needed. Reassemble correctly after cleaning.
STORAGE:
Store the appliance in an upright postion. Batteries shall be removed if the appliance is not in use or idle for an extended period of time.
