Read all instructions carefully before you begin.

  • Connect with us to get started
    • Log in or create your Switch Health account. Tap “Begin test” to start your telehealth session. The Switch Health healthcare provider will guide you through the following steps. Follow healthcare provider’s instructions for self-collection in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions Refer to the included manufacturer’s Instructions for the Home Test leaflet for further detail.
  • Fill out and apply your specimen label
    • Specimens returned without a completed specimen label will not be processed.
  • Prepare your kit for return
    • Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions on how to securely pack your specimen for transport back to us.
  • Return your kit for processing
    • Select from the available return methods – all options are free! Please return your kit to us as soon as possible.
  • Review your results
    • We’ll notify you when your results are available. Log into your Switch Health account where follow-up care options will be tailored to you.

The results of the test may be invalidated if the user a) does not properly engage a Switch Health healthcare provider via telehealth; or b) fails to follow the instructions provided for this HPV Collection Kit, including any instructions provided by the Switch Health healthcare provider. Switch Health is not responsible for any harms resulting from the incorrect use of this HPV Collection Kit. The Switch Health HPV Collection Kit must only be used under the guidance and supervision of a licensed Switch Health healthcare provider via telehealth.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is this test authorized for use by Health Canada?
Yes. All tests and devices we use are authorized by Health Canada.

Can I conduct this kit on my own?
No. You must connect with us via telehealth and be guided through the collection process by a Switch Health healthcare provider.

How is my privacy protected during a telehealth session?
The telehealth session is conducted using video chat through our secure, encrypted portal. You should connect with us from a private, safe location. To protect your privacy, the Switch Health healthcare provider will disable the audio and visual functions of the telehealth session when you are collecting your vaginal specimen.

Is my personal information secure?
Yes, we take your privacy seriously. We adhere to Canadian health privacy laws and leverage military-grade encryption to protect your information within all of our systems.

Can I leave my specimen outside for pick up?
Specimens should be stored at room temperature. Avoid exposure to extreme cold or hot temperatures.
