SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Carefully read the instructions before use! Save them for future reference.
- Do not dip the wallpaper stripper in liquid or rinse w ith water.
- Only use the wallpaper stripper for its intended application.
- Check that the rated voltage for the wallpaper stripper corresponds to the mains supply voltage before connecting.
- Check that the power cord is intact.
- Do not use the wallpaper stripper if it is damaged.
- The wallpaper stripper is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with it.
- Never leave the wallpaper stripper unattended when in operation to ensure that children or animals do not come into contact with it.
- Unplug the wallpaper stripper from the mains to clean.
- Never pull the power cord. Hold the plug when disconnecting the wallpaper stripper from the power point.
- Repairs must on ly carried out by an author ised service centre.
- A damaged power cord must only be replaced by an authorised electrician.
- The wallpaper stripper must not be used in areas where flammable liquids are stored or where there are flammable fumes/gas.
- Store the wallpaper stripper in a dry place when not in use.
- Disconnect the wallpaper stripper from the power point and wait for at least 2 minutes before filling or emptying.
- The heater must not be tilted when in use. It must stand on a completely flat surface.
- Do not attempt to move the heater by pulling the hose.
- Only move the heater by lifting it with its handle. Other parts get very hot.
- Do not point the steam plate at any part of the body. Risk of dangerous steam.
- Do not block the pressure relief valve.
- Do not use the wallpaper stripper near electric cables
- Do not fill with water when the tank is pressurised.
- Always wait for at least two minutes before removing the filler plug in order to top up with water and after finishing work (risk of scalding and burns).
- This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
- The appliance shall not be left unattended while it is connected to the supply mains.
- The filling aperture shall not be opened during use.
- The appliance is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
- Keep the appliance out of reach of children when it is energized or cooling down.
- Liquid or steam not directed towards equipment containing electrical components.
- Appliance to be unplugged after use and before user maintenance.
NOTE: The pressure relief valve releases steam when the pressure in the tank increases too much, for example if the steam hose gets clenched. Repair and maintenance of the valve must only be carried out by an authorised service centre.

DESCRIPTION

Use
- Screw the hose on the steam plate and water tank cap.
- Unscrew the cap and fill the tank with cold water, or hot water if you want to reduce the start time. Do not fill the tank over the MAX level.
- Plug the plug into the power point and wait until the water gets hot. The time it takes to produce steam depends on the amount of water in the tank. With a full tank (4.5 litres) it takes 10-13 minutes.
- Start working when steam flows out from the steam plate.
- Hold the steam plate against the wall and allow the steam to work for about 10-20 seconds.
- Cut the wallpaper (if thick) to allow the steam to penetrate.
- Move the steam plate and pull off the loose wallpaper. Repeat this procedure if the wallpaper does not come loose.
WARNING!
- Risk of scalding!
- After filling, wait for at least 15 minutes before starting the product. (This is in order to allow the safety switch to reset).
- Wait five minutes before filling with water after switching off.
- Place the product on a flat, stable surface.
- Make sure the water is over the minimum level.
- Stand the product upright immediately if it tips over.
- Keep children and pets at a safe distance from the product when in use.
- Keep away from the steam plate when using the product.
- Do not start the product if there is no water in it.
- Do not fill with water over the maximum mark.
- Do not tilt the water tank when in use. Do not allow the tank to become completely empty before filling it with new water. With a full water tank, the machine can be used for approximately 80 minutes. Fill the tank with water about every 30 minutes. Do not allow the water to drop below the MIN mark.
- Put the steam plate on a flat surface while working.
- Watch out for droplets of hot water and avoid touching the hot casing.
- Always use the handle to lift the steam plate.
IF THE WALLPAPER STRIPPER IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY, CHECK THE FOLLOWING:
- That there is enough water in the tank.
- That the hole in the steam plate is not blocked.
- That the steam hose is not clenched.
- That the power supply is working.
