  • Never immerse the appliance in water.
  • Use a damp cloth or sponge with washing-up liquid to clean the accessories and parts that come into contact with food. Rinse with a damp cloth or sponge.
  • Dry the accessories and parts that come into contact with food using a dry cloth.
  • Caution: The surface of the heating element stays hot for a while after use.
  • You could burn yourself if you come into contact with the appliance’s hot surfaces, hot water, steam or food.
  • Do not touch the appliance when it is producing steam and use protective gloves to remove the lid and steam attachment.
  • The use of a microwave to heat food placed in the storage pots provided may affect their nutritional value and lead to uneven heating.
  • Always mix the heated food to ensure even heat distribution and test the temperature before serving.

USE
The 4-in-1 Yummy Gourmet food processor comes with convenient features, which means you can make healthy meals for your children from a very early age! Make a variety of convenient recipes for your little ones to keep or take with you wherever you go, using the small ceramic pots provided with your appliance. With the Yummy Gourmet, you can choose from a number of preparation methods: steaming , blending ingredients with the processor, reheating and defrosting your food with just one single appliance.

Before first use

  • Take the appliance out of the packaging.
  • Remove the protective film from the display.
  • Unlock and lift the lid (A).
  • Use a damp, non-abrasive sponge to clean the lid (A).
  • Wash all detachable parts (bowl (F), basket (D), ceramic pots (C), silicone lids (B), blades (E)) in warm water with washing-up liquid, rinse and dry.

Cooking method

Caution : Always check the temperature of cooked food on a sensitive part of skin to make sure that it is safe for your baby. Do not use any seasoning or liquid other than water in the water tank (G). Make sure that there is water in the water tank (G) before starting. Note: Your Yummy Gourmet’s bowl capacity is ideal for batch cooking (anything left over after blending can be kept in storage canisters). To ensure optimal consistency for smaller quantities, please drain the water from the bottom of the bowl once the cooking cycle is complete and before blending.

Steaming with blending

  • Plug the appliance in. (fig 1)
  • Turn the bowl (F) in a counter-clockwise direction to unlock it and remove the bowl from the base. (G) (fig. 2)
  • Open the water tank (G) by turning its lid in a counter-clockwise direction then lifting. (fig. 3)
  • Fill the water tank (G). Do not fill above the maximum level indicated on the water tank (the MAX mark). (fig. 4–5)
  • Replace the lid on the water tank by turning it in a clockwise direction (fig. 6). If this lid is missing or incorrectly fitted, an error message “E2“ will appear on the display.
  • Release the lid and remove it from the bowl. (fig. 7)
  • Put the blades (E) in the bowl (F) of the 4-in-1 Yummy Gourmet. (fig. 8)
  • Place the ingredients into the bowl (F) without filling it above the maximum level (the MAX mark). (fig. 9)
  • Replace the lid (A) on the bowl (F) then turn it in a clockwise direction to lock. (fig. 10)
  • Place the bowl (F) on the base (G) and lock the bowl by turning it in a clockwise direction until you hear a beep. (fig. 11)
  • Select the STEAM programme by pressing the icon (fig. 12)
  • The default steaming time is 20 minutes. You can change the steaming time by pressing the + and – buttons, ranging from 1 to 25 minutes.
  • Press the START/STOP button to start the programme. (fig. 13)
  • Be careful while the cycle is running as hot water may spit from the steam spout. (fig. 14)
  • Please note: You can pause the cycle at any time to check the progress of the steaming by pressing the START/STOP button or by opening the lid (A).
  • Caution: Wait one minute before opening the lid (A) to avoid getting burnt. The appliance remembers the current cycle for two minutes, so it can resume the cycle where it was paused. After two minutes on pause, the current cycle will be cancelled.
  • At the end of the programme, you will hear a beep.
  •  Wait one minute before blending your food.
  • To blend, place the blender part on the lid of the bowl (A) and plug it (fig 15 – 15a)
  • Press the START/STOP button on the blender to blend until you reach your desired texture. (fig. 16–17)
  • Caution: After blending, always check the texture of the food; it must be smooth to avoid any choking hazards for your child. If the texture is not smooth enough, repeat the steps for blending.

  • Please note : Wait about five minutes for the appliance to cool to room temperature, then pour the remaining water out of the tank. To empty or clean the water tank, read the chapter “Cleaning and descaling“.
  • Caution : Steam or hot water can burn your fingers. Do not touch the hot parts of the appliance, or any steam that escapes from the top, to avoid getting burnt. Make sure that children also follow this safety measure.
  • If ingredients remain stuck to the blades, unplug the appliance and remove them with offered spatula.

Steaming without blending

  • Plug the appliance in. (fig. 1)
  • Turn the bowl (F) in a counter-clockwise direction to unlock it and remove the bowl from the base (G). (fig. 2)
  • Open the water tank (G) by turning its lid in a counter-clockwise direction then lifting. (fig. 3)
  • Fill the water tank (G). Do not fill above the maximum level indicated on the water tank (the MAX mark). (fig. 4–5)
  • Replace the lid of the water tank by turning it in a clockwise direction. (fig. 6)
  • Release the lid and remove it from the bowl. (fig. 7)
  • Insert the steaming basket (D) into the bowl (F).
  • Place the ingredients in the steaming basket (D) respecting the MAX quantities in the table above.
  • Replace the lid (A) on the bowl (F) then turn it in a clockwise direction to lock. (fig. 10)
  • Place the bowl (F) on the base (G) and lock the bowl (F) by turning it in a clockwise direction until you hear a beep. (fig. 11)
  • Select the STEAM programme by pressing the icon. (fig. 12)

Reheating mode

  • To be used only with the ceramic pots included
  • Plug the appliance in. (fig. 21)
  • Turn the bowl (F) in a counter-clockwise direction to unlock it and remove the bowl (F) from the base (G). (fig. 22)
  • Open the water tank (G) by turning its lid in a counter-clockwise direction then lifting. (fig. 23)
  • Fill the water tank (G). Do not fill above the maximum level indicated on the water tank (the MAX mark). (fig. 24–25)
  • Replace the lid of the water tank by turning it in a clockwise direction (fig. 26).
  • Release the lid and remove it from the bowl. (fig. 27)
  • Add the cooked preparation to heat in 1 or 2 small ceramic pots (C) provided (according to your convenience) (fig 28)
  • Close the pots with their cover (B) then place them in the steam basket (D) (fig 29 and 29a)
  • Place the steamer basket containing the small pots in the bowl (F) (fig 29b)
  • Replace the lid (A) on the bowl (F) then turn it in a clockwise direction to lock. (fig. 29c)
  • Place the bowl (F) on the base (G) and lock the bowl (F) by turning it in a clockwise direction until you hear a beep. (fig. 30)
  • Select the REHEAT programme by pressing the icon. (fig. 31)
  • The default steaming time is 6 minutes. You can change the steaming time by pressing the + and – buttons, ranging from 1 to 10 minutes.
  • Please note : Select the time that is most suitable for the food you want to reheat. You can pause the cycle at any time to check the progress of the reheating by pressing the
  • START/STOP button or by opening the lid.
  • Caution: Wait one minute before opening the lid (A) to avoid getting burnt.
  • The appliance remembers the current cycle for two minutes, so it can resume the cycle where it was paused. After two minutes on pause, the current cycle will be cancelled.
  • Press the START/STOP button to start the programme. (fig. 32)

Defrosting mode

  • Turn the bowl (F) in a counter-clockwise direction to unlock it and remove the bowl (F) from the base (G). (fig. 35)
  • Open the water tank (G) by turning its lid in a counter-clockwise direction then lifting. (fig. 36)
  • Fill the water tank. Do not fill above the maximum level indicated on the water tank (the MAX mark). (fig. 37–38)
  • Replace the lid of the water tank by turning it in a clockwise direction. (fig. 39)
  • Release the lid and remove it from the bowl. (fig. 40)
  • Add the frozen preparation in 1 or 2 small ceramic pots (C) provided (according to your convenience)
  • Close the pots with their lid (B) then place them in the steam basket (D) (fig 41 – 41a)
  • Place the steamer basket containing the small pots in the bowl (F) (fig 41b)
  • Replace the lid (A) on the bowl (F) then turn it in a clockwise direction to lock. (fig. 42)
  • Place the bowl (F) on the base (G) and lock the bowl (F) by turning it in a clockwise direction until you hear a beep. (fig. 43)
  • Select the DEFROST programme by pressing the icon. (fig. 44)
  • The default defrosting time is 15 minutes. You can change the steaming time by pressing the + and – buttons, ranging from 1 to 30 minutes.
  • Please note : Select the time that is most suitable for the food you want to defrost.
  • You can pause the cycle at any time to check the progress of the defrosting by pressing the START/STOP button or by opening the lid.
  • Caution: Wait one minute before opening the lid to avoid getting burnt. The appliance remembers the current cycle for two minutes, so it can resume the cycle where it was paused. After two minutes on pause, the current cycle will be cancelled.
  • Press the START/STOP button to start the programme. (fig. 45)

Blending mode

  • Put the blades (E) in the bowl (F) of the 4-in-1 Yummy Gourmet. (fig. 49)
  • Place the ingredients into the bowl (F) without filling it above the maximum level (the MAX mark). (fig. 50)
  • Replace the lid (A) on the bowl (F) then turn it in a clockwise direction to lock. (fig. 51)
  • Plug the blender part in. (fig 52)
  • Place the blender part on the lid (A) of the bowl (fig. 53).
  • Press the START/STOP button on the blender to blend until you reach your desired texture. (fig. 54–55)

CLEANING/DESCALING

Cleaning the appliance

  • After each use, unplug the appliance. (fig. 56)
  • Leave to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Check that the appliance has cooled down sufficiently before you empty the bowl (F) and water tank (G).
  • Wash all detachable parts in warm water with washing-up liquid, rinse and dry. (fig. 57)
  • Caution : handle the blades with care. There is a risk of cutting yourself. (fig. 58)
  • Remove the seal from the lid of the bowl and clean it with warm water and washing-up liquid, then rinse and dry to prevent stagnant water trickling into the food. (fig. 59)
  • Do not immerse the electric base (G) or the lid (A) of the bowl in water. (fig. 60)
  • Do not rinse the electric base (G) or the lid of bowl (A) directly under the tap. (fig. 60)
  • You can put all parts, except the electric base (G) and the lid of the bowl (A), in the dishwasher.
  • Never use abrasive cleaning products.
  • Food colouring may stain the components. (fig 66a-66b-66c)

Descaling the appliance

  • To keep your appliance running at its best, descale it every 8 uses. To do this:
  • Remove the bowl (F) from the base (G).
  • Open the water tank (G) by removing its lid. (fig. 61)
  • Pour 175 ml cold water into the water tank. (fig. 62)
  • Add 75 ml of white vinegar. (fig. 63)
  • Leave to soak overnight. (fig. 64)
  • Pour the water and vinegar out of the tank. (fig. 65–66)
  • Rinse the inside of the water tank several times with warm water.
  • If the limescale deposits are not completely removed, repeat the above steps.
  • Never use abrasive cleaning products.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Reason Solution
The appliance does not work. The appliance is not properly plugged in. The
bowl or the bowl lid are not properly locked. Check that the appliance is

properly plugged in. Lock properly the bowl and the bowl lid on its base.
The appliance won’t heat up.| You have not pressed the START/ STOP button.

The water tank is empty.

| Press the START/STOP button. Fill the water tank up to the MAX mark.
Steam is escaping from in between the lid and the appliance.| The lid is not properly fitted.| check that the lid and cover gasket are properly fitted.
The food is not cooked properly.| There is no water or not enough water in the water tank. or the cooking time is too short.| Before and during cooking, check the water level in the water tank. If there is no water left during cooking, the appliance will no longer produce steam or cook the food. Increase the cooking time.
The food hasn’t defrosted after a defrost cycle.| There is too much food to be defrosted or it was not defrosted for long enough.| Restart a defrost cycle.
E1 has appeared on the control panel. + blinking red light| There is not enough water in the water tank.| Fill the water tank after one minute has elapsed to prevent steam jets and potential burns
E2 has appeared on the control panel.| The lid of the water tank is not on or not properly locked.| Close the lid properly.
Water is flowing from the base.| There is a leak from the heating element.| Take the appliance to an approved Service Centre.
Food is taking longer to cook than before.| The heating element is coated in limescale.| Descale the heating element (see paragraph “Cleaning/descaling“).
An unpleasant smell is coming from the water tank when using it for the first time.| You haven’t cleaned the water tank before using it for the first time.| Read the chapter “Cleaning / descaling” to clean the water tank, then start a steaming cycle with an empty bowl.
The food hasn’t heated evenly.| The pieces in the bowl are too big.| Cut the food into smaller pieces (1 cm cubes maximum).
The storage pot leaks during reheating/defrosting.| The storage pot lid is not properly fitted.| Before placing the storage pot in the bowl to reheat/defrost, make sure that the lid is closed properly.
White dots have appeared on the water tank, its lid, the bowl and its lid.| These parts have limescale deposits.| This is normal. Remove limescale regularly. Clean the lid of the water tank, the bowl and its lid with a  damp

cloth. Descale the water tank. Read the section “Cleaning /

descaling“.

The surfaces that come into contact with food are stained.| Food may stain parts it comes into contact with.| This is normal. All of the parts can still be used safely and won’t affect the food you cook.
