TRAINING INSTRUCTIONS

Before starting

  • Take your time and find a quiet place.
  • Practice barefoot or with indoor training shoes.
  • Find a Fixation point on the wall at eye-level right at the beginning and look straight ahead.
  • All exercises should be executed in a standing position with the upper part of your body upright and slightly bent knees. The balancing movements are supported by a slight movement oft he pelvis.
  • Choose the exercises and the number of repetitions according to your ability.
  • You get the best training effect when doing the MFT training approx. 10 – 15 minutes every day.
  • If you have health problems or have suffered sports injuries, consult your doctor or therapist before starting with the exercises.

Attention: Floor dampers

  • These protect the floor and the board.
  • Recommendation: please use an underlay mat on wood, carpet & plastic floors. Cork/Latex -> see MFT Fit Pro Mat.

For professionals only:

  • Boundary bars can easily be removed with a Torx screwdriver.
  • Caution: this increases the range of movement.

MFT Trainings Devices Instruction Manual

Intended Usage: MFT training devices can be used in athletic and fitness training to improve coordination and balance

Requirements: Constant supervision and instruction from a doctor, or certified trainer of therapist is required when using MFT training devices for Physical Therapy.

  • Age: from 6 to 60 years, according to the level of fitness.
  • Weight: max. 120 kg body weight (approx: 270 lbs).
  • Skills: Good physical condition and coordination.

Safety Instructions: One must execute all workouts on a compact, nonslippery, dry, and level surface must be clean and dry during all training. One can train with sneakers or barefoot. Do not wear socks, stockings or dress shoes. If necessary, one can use a chair, table, bar,or spotting person for assistance during fitness training. One can reduce the risk of injuries when falling by keeping the workout area clear of debris and if needed, placing a soft surface around the training area. Children must only exercise under the supervision of an adult.

Additional Instruction: MFT devices must not be used for jumping, but only for smooth and easy movements.

Regulations/Maintenance: Before usage check the device for damages and make sure that all adjustable pieces are fixed.
