Please read this instruction manual carefully before using for the first time and always keep these instructions.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electronic equipment, basic safety precautions must be followed, including the following: WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire or injury to persons:
- Read all instructions before using the unit.
- Use this unit only for its intended use as described in this manual.
- Do not operate this unit if it has a damaged cord or plug, is not working properly or has been damaged or dropped. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- WARNING: Do not allow children to use the unit without supervision.
- WARNING: Liquids and food stuffs must not be spilled or dropped into the unit.
- WARNING: It is hazardous for anyone other than a trained person to carry out any service or repair operation.
- This unit is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the unit.
- Never leave the product unsupervised. Switch on the product when it is not in use, even if this is only for a short while.
- The unit must be free-standing. It must not be placed in a cabinet.
- The temperature of accessible surfaces may increase when the unit is operating.
- This unit is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote control.
- If smoke is emitted, switch on and unplug the unit immediately.
- Cleaning: Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a slightly dampened cloth for cleaning and immediately wipe dry.
- Attachments: Use only attachments recommended by the manufacturer. Use of other attachments may be hazardous.
- Water and Moisture: Do not use this product near water (e.g., near a bath tub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in wet basements, or near a swimming pool and the like).
- Ventilation: Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating. These openings should never be blocked by placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug, or other similar surface. This product should not be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided.
- This unit must not be exposed to dripping or splashing and objects filled with liquids, such as vases, must not be placed on the apparatus.
- Replacement parts: When replacement parts are required, be sure that your service technician has used replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or that have the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock, or other hazards.
- Safety check: Upon completion of any service or repairs to this product, ask the service technician to perform safety checks to ensure that the product is in proper operating condition.
- Overloading: Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or integral convenience receptacles as this may cause a fire or an electric shock.
- When the AC/ DC adapter is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device must remain readily operable. To completely disconnect the power input, the AC/ DC adapter must be completely disconnected from the mains.
BLU ETOOTH
Turn both the speaker unit and the Bluetooth switch on your mobile (or other
device) ON and search for the speaker name “BT 68 EVO2”. Pair the device. Once
the device is paired, Bluetooth will automatically connect whenever the unit
is turned on.
Turn on the speaker and it will automatically go into Bluetooth mode. Once the
device is paired it can play music.
Short press to play/ pause. Press and to go to prey or next. Long press and to
turn the volume down or up.
FEATURES
- Display LED shows information on the mode currently being played.
- On/ off: Power switch. Push the switch to the on position to turn the speaker on and push it off to turn the speaker off.
- TF slot: Read MP3 files in FAT 32 format with maximum size of 32GB.
- USB slot: Read MP3 files in FAT 32 format with maximum size of 32GB.
- M: Mode shift button. Press Mode “M” button to enter into Bluetooth mode, press once for USB/ TF mode, press again to enter AUX/ FM mode. Long press to turn LED light on/ off.
- Next/ skip forward: In FM/ USB/ TF/ Bluetooth mode, short press to move to next channel/ track.
- Play/ pause: In USB/ TF/ Bluetooth mode, short press for play and pause. In FM mode, short press for station selection and frequency modulator alternation and long press for automatic search.
- Prey/ skip backward: In FM/ USB/ TF/ Bluetooth mode, short press to move to the previous channel/ track.
- Mic-vol: Set the microphone volume.
- Mic: Microphone input
- Line-in: External sound source input port (plug and play) enables connection to an external sound source (PC, digital media player, mobile phones and other audio-visual products).
- DC-5V: Connect USB cable and plug into PC or other charging sources to recharge the unit. The red LED light turns on when charging.
AUX-IN
To play your favourite music from an external audio source, connect BT 68 EVO2
with an audio cable. Press M (mode) button to select Line-in mode. Long press
and button to turn the volume down or up.
NOTE: In Line-in mode prey and next selection is not available. This
function may only be controlled by an external device.
Insert the U flash memory of TF card into the USB/ TF slot, files will play
automatically. The device supports all MP3 music files.
Press to play/ pause. Short press and to go to prey or next. Long press and
button to turn the volume down or up.
FM RADIO
Press to automatically search for FM channels. This operation will scan all FM
stations and record them to memory. The scan procedure will take several
minutes to complete and should not be interrupted. Once complete, short press
or to move backward or forward. Long press ort to turn the volume down or up.
NOTE: Connect the cable into the Line-in port to receive FM radio clearly
as the cable functions as an antenna.
CHARGING
Plug the DC side of the cable to the DC port of the speaker and insert the USB
side of the cable to any USB Power Source. The red LED below the DC Port will
be light up when charging.
NOTE: Long press EQ button to turn the flashlight on/ off.

1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
The Manufacturer hereby provides a warranty to the original purchaser of this
product (the consumer) that this product will be free of manufacturing defects
in materials and workmanship which under normal, personal, family or household
use (commercial use expressly excluded) manifest themselves within the 1 year
from the date of purchase.
EXCLUSIONS
- The warranty does not include and will not be construed to cover products damaged as a result of disaster, misuse, commercial use, not in accordance within the written instructions included with the product, abuse and/or any non-authorised modification of the product, incorrect installation of the product or normal wear and tear
- Insect infestation of the electrical or motor makes the claim invalid.
- Customer abuse do not fall under warranty.
WAIVER
The warranty and the obligations of the Manufacturer provided herein are in
lieu of, and the consumer, waives all other warranties, guarantees, conditions
or liabilities, express or implied, arising by law or otherwise, including
without limitation, any obligation of the manufacturer in respect of any
injury, loss or damage (direct, indirect or consequential) arising out of the
use of, or inability to use this product and whether or not occasioned by the
manufacturer’s negligence or any act or omission on its part.
PROOF OF PURCHASE
Any claim in terms of the warranty must be supported by a proof of purchase.
If such proof is not available, then not withstanding anything to the contrary
herein, the service agent’s prevailing charges for services/repairs and/or
spares will be payable by the Consumer upon collection of the repaired
product. The Consumer should call the Pick n Pay CUSTOMER CARE number on 0860
30 30 30 (only in South Africa). Customers residing outside South Africa may
return the product back to a Pick n Pay store. During the warranty period the
product may only be serviced and/or repaired by the Manufacturer’s duly
authorised agent(s).
If this product proves to be faulty during normal use due to defective
materials or workmanship. Refer to our website for terms and conditions.
REPAIRS PROCEDURE
Should you experience any faults on your Aim product, please adhere to the
following procedure to have the fault rectified speedily and professionally.
You can return the product to the store.
Call the Pick n Pay CUSTOMER CARE number on 0860 30 30 30 (only in South
Africa) to report the fault and make arrangements for the next steps.
Note: Should you live in an outlying area or outside South Africa, it may
be necessary to return the product to the store nearest to you.
COST OF REPAIRS
UNDER WARRANTY
Any item s still under warranty will be repaired free of charge, as long as it
complies with the terms and conditions of the warranty (refer to “warranties”
section in this manual). Any items that need to be repaired that are NOT
covered in the warranty will be for the consumer’s expense. A quote for the
repair/replacement of these items will be provided to the consumer for
approval prior to repairs being conducted.
OUT OF WARRANTY
Any items that need to be repaired once the warranty has expired will be for
the consumer’s expense including call out fees. A quote for the
repair/replacement of these items will be provided to the consumer for
