Use of the device
BEFORE USE
Remove any stickers. Wash all parts in soapy water before use (except for heating base) and rinse thoroughly.
DURING USE
The adjustable temperature means that the fondue pan can be used for various kinds of fondue: the classic meat fondue, a cheese fondue, a chocolate fondue or a Chinese fondue (with ingredients Cooke din boiling stock). Make sure the pan is not too full. Set the thermostat regulates the temperature. For the classic meat fondue, the thermostat needs to be set at the maximum level. Whereas for cheese, Chinese and chocolate fondues the “medium” setting is preferable. Adjust the temperature so that the contents are just starting to boil. Cheese and chocolate in particular need to be heated up slowly, as the pan will otherwise boil over. Stir every now and to obtain a smooth mixture. Only prick in to the ingredients, not into the pan.
