Safe use of the trampoline

Intended use
The EXIT Toys sport trampoline is intended for sport and exercise purposes. This trampoline is intended to be used by children above 14 years old and adults. For the maximum user weight, please see enclosed warning sheet. For the safe use, please pay attention to understand and remember the following warnings, as incorrect use may lead serious injury or death.

Warnings for safe usage

WARNINGS

  • WARNING. For domestic and outdoor use only.
  • WARNING. CHOKING HAZARD! – Small parts during assembly. Not for Children under 3 years old.
  • WARNING. This product is intended to be used by children above 14 years old and adults. For the maximum user weight, please see enclosed warning sheet.
  • WARNING. Only perform somersaults or other difficult jumps under supervision of an instructor.
  • WARNING. Collision hazard when used by more users at a time.
  • WARNING. Jump without shoes.
  • WARNING. Don’t use the mat when it is wet.
  • WARNING. Always jump in the middle of the mat.
  • WARNING. Empty your pockets and hands before jumping.
  • WARNING. The trampoline shall be assembled by an adult in accordance with the assembly instructions and thereafter checked before the first use.
  • WARNING. Do not exit by a jump. You should enter and leave the trampoline in a controlled and careful manner. Never jump onto or off the trampoline and never use the trampoline as a means to bounce onto or into another object.
  • WARNING. Do not eat while jumping.
  • WARNING. Limit the time of continuous usage, and take a break every 10 minutes.
  • WARNING. Do not use in strong wind conditions and secure the trampoline.
  • WARNING. Installation of the trampoline requires a hole to be dug in the ground. If you are not sure about the ground work, please contact a professional

BEFORE YOU BEGIN USING YOUR TRAMPOLINE:
Read and understand the information provided in this manual. As with all physical sports and activities there is the risk of participants receiving an injury. To ensure your future enjoyment and the prevention of injury, be sure to follow appropriate safety rules and tips

  • It’s recommended to place the trampoline on a level surface at least 2 m from any structure or obstruction such as a fence, garage, house, overhanging branches, laundry lines or electrical wires.
  • Trampoline shall neither be installed over concrete, asphalt or any other hard surface nor at proximity of other conflicting installations (e.g. padding pools, swings, slides, climbing frames…).
  • It’s recommended to apply shock absorbing material around the trampoline up to 1m from the jumping surface. Suitable materials can be:
    • Bark : 20 to 80 particle size – depth 300mm
    • Woodchip : 5 to 30 particle size – depth 300mm
    • Sand or gravel (round & washed): 0,25 to 8 grain size – depth 300mm
    • Shock absorbing tiles which comply with EN 1177
  • For all materials, make sure the shock absorbing materials are enclosed/fixed to prevent displacement.
  • To prevent unsupervised and unauthorized use, the trampoline should be secured at all time when it’s not in use;
  • Keep the user supervised all the time while the trampoline is in use.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

It’s important to carry out checks and maintenance of the main parts (frame, suspension system, mat, and padding,) at the beginning of each season and also at regular intervals, pointing out that if these checks are not carried out, the trampoline could become dangerous.

  • Check all nuts and bolts for tightness and tighten when required;
  • Check that all spring-loaded (pit pin) joints are still intact and cannot become dislodged during use;
  • Check all coverings and sharp edges and replace when required;
  • Retain the maintenance instruction manual;
  • Outdoor trampolines should be equipped with a device that in strong wind conditions avoid displacement due to wind (e.g. steel bars in the ground or loads like sand bag or water bags) and/ or items catching wind like the mat should be removed;
  • In certain countries during winter period, the snow load and the very low temperature can damage the trampoline. It is recommended to remove the snow and store the mat indoors;
  • Check that mat, padding, and soft surface are without defects;
  • Any modifications made by the consumer to the original trampoline (e.g. the adding of an accessory) shall be carried out according to the instructions of the manufacturer.
  • If the trampoline need to be moved, it should be moved by two adults, kept horizontal, and lifted slightly. If necessary, the trampoline can be taken apart for moving. To take the trampoline apart, follow the assembly steps in reverse order.
  • Self-securing nuts and screws are suitable only for one time setting up, and must be replaced after breakdown of the trampoline.

  5. 5-year warranty on the breaking of the frame

  6. 2-year warranty on the springs

  7. 2-year warranty (Classic) on the protective surround pad and the jump mat.

  8. 3-year warranty (Premium) on the protective surround pad and the jump mat.
    Dynamic

  9. 10-year warranty on the breaking of the frame

  10. 5-year warranty on the springs

  11. 2-year warranty on the protective surround pad and the jump mat.

  12. The warranty applies only to the material and construction defects with respect to this product or its components.

  13. The warranty becomes defunct if:

  14. This product is used incorrectly and/or carelessly and is used in such a way that it does not comply with its purpose.

  15. This product is not assembled and maintained according to the instruction booklet.

  16. Technical repairs to this product are not carried out professionally.

  17. Parts, which are mounted afterwards, do not comply with the technical specifications of the product concerned or are mounted incorrectly.

  18. Defects are a result of climatic influences such as corrosion, UV rays or normal disintegration.

  19. The product is rented out or was made available to various unspecified persons in any other manner.

  20. EXIT Toys will repair or replace according to its choice all material and construction defects that have been ascertained by EXIT Toys during the warranty period.

  21. The owner of the EXIT Toys Trampoline is only entitled to the warranty by presenting the product for inspection at an EXIT Toys dealer. It should be handed to the EXIT Toys dealer, accompanied by the original purchase invoice.

  22. In case of material and construction defects that have been ascertained by EXIT Toys, the product or its components will be repaired or replaced – according to its choice – free of charge during the warranty period mentioned in Article 1.

  23. If the claim for warranty is not justifiable, all the costs are at the expense of the owner.

  24. This warranty cannot be transferred to third parties.

  25. The trampoline is designed for personal use. It is not permitted to rent out or place the trampoline in public areas like schools or day-care center. The guarantee and any other liabilities shall expire if the trampoline is rented out or used in public areas.
