Happy Puzzle Company Garden Maze Genius Board and Grid
Your ball has ended up behind lots of houses. So, how will you get it
back?
Roll the four dice and you’ll discover the location of two of the houses, but
think carefully about the direction they should face! Now start positioning
the other houses until you create a route for the ball, then lift up the board
using the grips at the side and roll it back!
Garden Maze Genius is an all new ‘Genius’ game that will help children to develop their thinking skills, strategic planning and spatial awareness. There are 4,096 possible puzzles to attempt and each one successfully solved will lead to a boost in self-confidence and a growing belief that they too can be a Garden Maze Genius!
CONTENTS
- 1 x Garden Maze Genius board and grid
- 16 x Houses to position on the board (note that the houses are all numbered)
- 2 x Pink eight-sided dice
- 2 x Blue eight-sided dice
- 2 x Ball
HOW TO PLAY:
Start by rolling all four of the dice. The two pink dice will tell you the
first numbered house you need to position and the co-ordinates of its
location. The two blue dice will tell you the second numbered house you need
to position and the co-ordinates of its location.
Next, position those two houses. One will always be on the top two rows and the other on the lower two rows. These houses can be positioned on any rotation and you can change that rotation at any point during the puzzle, but they must remain on the same square.
Now you are ready to solve the puzzle! Position as many of the other houses as
you need to, so that when the ball is placed at the START (see Fig. 1), it
will be able to roll all the way through to the FINISH.
However, to solve the puzzle correctly, your ball MUST pass through the
gardens of both houses that you positioned with the dice at the start.

You don’t have to use every house, but if you wish to, you can position any that you have not used on the grid before your final task…
Completing each puzzle:
To complete each puzzle, use the grips at the side of the board to lift up the
board and then navigate the ball through the maze to the finish, passing
through both of the houses you positioned at the start of the puzzle as you
go!
Have you succeeded? If you have, it’s time to roll again and try the next
puzzle. If not, try again because there is ALWAYS a solution!
