QUICK START GUIDE

Turning on Your Model

  1. Tum on the transmitter.
    Always turn the transmitter on first, before tuming on the model. The transmittersLED will glow green.

  2. Turn on the model by plugging the battery into the electronic control module.
    Plug the battery into the EQM. Make sure the battery plug is completely inserted. The LED will glow green.

To turn the model off:
Unplug the battery from the ECM. The battery should always be unplugged from the ECM when the vehicle is not in use. For this reason, ‘the model is not equipped with a traditional on/off switch. Turn off the transmitter.

Operating Your Model

For maximum radio range, hold the transmitter upright and pointed in the direction of the model.
Reversing: After stopping the model, return the transmitter’s trigger to neutral and push up again to activate reverse throttle.

Transmitter Adjustments

Steering Trim
To adjust, drive the vehicle forward slowly while“steering”with the trim knob until the vehicle travels in a straight line with no steering input.

Low Voltage Detection

The ECM is equipped with three-stage Low Voltage Detection (LVD) that alerts the driver when LiPo batteries have reached their minimum voltage (discharge) threshold. Stopimmediately to prevent the battery pack from being discharged belowits safe minimum threshold. Unplug the battery and recharge. Leaving the battery connected to the vehicle when not is use can cause permanent battery damage. Always unplug the battery after use.

Drive Node Profiles

The ECM is equipped with three driving profiles.

Sport Mode (Single red flash)
Allows full forward, reverse, and braking power.
Trail Mode (Two red flashes)
Default factory setting. Adds drag brake at neutral to Sport Mode to slow descent down hills.

Crawl Mode (Three red flashes)
Increases Trail Mode drag brake at neutral to 100% for maximum hill hold.

To change drive modes:

  1. With the ECM powered on, press and hold the EZ-Set button.
  2. The EZ-Set button will flash red once, then twice, then three times.
  3.  Release the EZ-Set button after the desired number of flashes to select the mode.

Running in Wet Conditions
The electronic components are waterproof to a lbw driving in wet conditions. After running, thoroughly dean and dry the model and lubricate/protect metal part and hardware as needed to present rust and corrosion.
