INTENDED USE

WARNING: This appliance is intended for domestic use only. This appliance is only intended to be used as a flashlight, for illuminating indoor or outdoor objects. Do not use this appliance for other than its intended purpose. All claims of any type are excluded, which are due to improper usage. The risk is borne solely by the operator. The product may only be used for its intended purpose. The observance of all instructions is mandatory.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please read the instruction manual carefully before using the flashlight! Observe the safety guidelines, when taking the flashlight into operation. Safely store the instruction manual for future reference. If the flashlight is passed on to a third party, the manual must be also be passed on.

  • Do not continue to use the flashlight if it is damaged.
  • Do not swallow any of the small flashlight components. Small parts must be stored out of the reach of children. This product is not suitable for use by children.
  • The product is not a toy! Please store the appliance out of the reach of children.
  • Hazard of heat accumulation, if the product is for instance covered during use.
  •  Do not use the flashlight near to combustible materials, or at locations that are easily inflammable.
  •  Blinding hazard! Do not look directly into the light beam.
  •  The beam of light may not be directed towards the eyes. Do not use the product for examining the eyes (examination of the pupils).
  • Do not use light-bundling instruments in combination with the product. Do not short-circuit the contacts of the product.
  • Do not attempt to exchange the LED lamp. The LED cannot be exchanged. In case of damage, always safely dispose of the lamp.
  •  Contains sharp blades. Always be careful when using objects with sharp blades.
  •  The battery included is a premium lithium-ion battery that is designed for optimal performance. Do not replace the battery with a standard battery (carbon zinc) or a rechargeable nickel-cadmium battery.
  • The product is not suitable for room lighting in the home.

Charging the flashlight

  1. Connect the micro USB cable to the micro USB charging port
  2. Connect the standard USB end of the cable to a USB power port on a computer or other charging source.
  3. A red light indicates that the device is charging. The light turns green as soon as the device is fully charged.

Important: Fully charge the batteries via the USB port before use.
Using the flashlight

  1.  Press the „Flashlight / Flash Mode“ button to cycle through the following modes.
    • The first press turns the flashlight mode on
    •  The second press turns the flashlight mode off
    •  The third press turns the strobe mode on
    •  The fourth press turns the strobe mode off
  2. Move the flashlight‘s telescopic head forward for a narrow, focused beam and backward for a wider beam.
  3.  To cut a safety belt, place the safety belt in the notch (Fig. 10) and quickly pull back the commando lamp to cut.
  4.  To use the emergency signal (Fig. 13), press the power button and switch to strobe mode. Place the commando flashlight on a flat surface by the roadside.

  • Do not dispose this product at the end of its service life through normal domestic waste. It has to be disposed through a collection agency that recycles electric and electronic devices. This is pointed out by the symbol on the product, in the instruction manual, and on the packaging. Please inquire about local collection agencies that may be operated by your distributor or your municipal administration. By recycling, making use of the materials, or other forms of recycling old units you are making an important contribution to protecting our environment.
  • Batteries are not part of your household waste and must be taken to an authorized collection point. Take care that the skin, eyes and mucous membranes never come into contact with battery fluid/acid. In case of contact with battery fluid, immediately rinse affected areas with plenty of clean water and consult a physician.
