Before initial use

Unpacking

  • Take the product out of the packaging.
  • Completely remove all packaging materials.
  • Check the package contents for completeness. Contact Service immediately in case of missing components.

CAUTION! Material damage!

The filter (8) inside of the device is packed in an additional plastic bag. Make certain to remove the plastic bag before using the device for the first time. Refer to the ‘Changing the filter’ section.

How the air purifier works

  • An internal fan draws ambient air into the device through a high-quality filter (8).
  • The filter (8) removes particles, such as household dust, pollen, mould spores, smoke and so on, from the air, resulting in a significant reduction of said particles in the ambient air. The activated carbon filter contained within the filter (8) minimises and neutralises odours.
  • The device has a timer function that switches it off automatically and a sleep mode for quiet operation at night.
  • The ion function electrically charges (ionises) air particles (atoms and molecules) inside of the air purifier and then releases them into the ambient air using the fan.
  • Oppositely charged ions and particles in the air cling to each other, which makes them fall to the ground more easily, thereby stopping them from floating about in the
  • ambient air.

Initial use

A plastic odour may occur within the first hours of initial use. The manufacturer is aware of this odour; it not harmful to health and will cease after a certain period of operation.
