INNO Instrument V30 Optical Multi Meter

Product Information

The V30 Optical Multi Meter, produced by INNO, is a versatile device designed for optical fiber testing and network cable/phone line testing. It features an optical power meter (OPM), a visual fault locator (VFL), an LED lamp, and network cable/phone line testing capabilities.
The OPM utilizes an InGaAs detector and supports 2.5mm ST/SC/FC universal connectors. It can measure optical power in the wavelengths of 850/1300/1310/1490/1550/1625nm, with a measuring range from +6 to -70dBm. The OPM provides accurate measurements with linearity units displayed in uW or dBm.
The VFL emits a laser light for visual fault detection. It supports continuous laser mode or flicker laser mode with a 2Hz flicker frequency.
The LED lamp can be used in continuous light mode or flicker mode with SOS coding.
The device also includes network cable and phone line testing capabilities, supporting RJ45 and RJ11 interfaces. It can be used for UTP CAT-5/CAT-5e network cables and 2/4/6-core phone lines, with a maximum test distance of 1KM.
The V30 Optical Multi Meter has power-on and power saving functions. It automatically shuts down after 10 minutes of inactivity, but this feature can be disabled by pressing and holding the MODE button during power-on. The device defaults to the OPM function upon power-on, but can switch between OPM, VFL, LED, and network cable/phone line tester functions in loop mode.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Power On and Off: Quickly press the MODE button to turn on the instrument. Press and hold the MODE button for 2 seconds or more to turn off the instrument. The instrument will shut down automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity.
  2. Function Selection: The instrument defaults to the OPM function upon power-on. Press the MODE button to cycle through the OPM, VFL, LED, and network cable/phone line tester functions.
  3. Optical Power Meter (OPM): To switch the measuring optical wavelengths, press the T button under the OPM function. The instrument supports calibrating wavelengths of 850/1300/1310/1490/1550/1625nm. The numeric display can be switched between uW and dBm by pressing the U button.
  4. LED Lamp: Under the LED function, press the U button to select continuous light mode or flicker mode with SOS coding.
  5. Visual Fault Locator (VFL): Under the VFL function, press the U button to select continuous laser mode or flicker laser mode with a 2Hz flicker frequency.
