WARNING
Please read this user manual carefully before operation and maintenance, follow all provided warning, installation and maintenance instructions, and keep it for future reference.
- Do not use for gasoline fuel storage.
- Never drain the water heater when it’s hot or under pressure.
- Be sure to use a potable water hose whenever filling it.
- Do not over fill the tank. It will add a great deal of stress, especially when you consider the additional strain of road vibration. As a result, the connections are more likely to loosen and leak, and the tanks, themselves may crack.
- Read your RV manual closely and make sure the weight of water tank not negatively affect other parts on your rig.
- Carefully select the location on your RV where you will install it. Decide the location of tank and expose a side that allows you to access to install.
- Make sure your water tank is easily accessible for any later maintenance that may be necessary.
- If you have no mechanical experience and are not familiar with the installation, you should have the product installed by a professional installer.

MAINTENANCE
For ongoing maintenance, you will want to drain your tanks after every use to
avoid build-up of bacteria.Additionally, it’s a good idea to fully clean the
system with laundry detergent and/or bleach a couple times a year.Part of
properly maintaining your Rvs water system is to drain and flush it when not
in use.Don’t leave water sitting in it for long periods, empty it and let it
dry at the end of each trip. It helps to deprive bacteria and other microbes
of the moisture they need to reproduce.
If you live in a cold climate you will need to winterize your gear to protect
your hoses from bursting and your tank from cracking.
INSTALLATION
-
Clean out your water systems. Drain your pipes, other holding tanks, and the hot water heater.Clean your tanks using laundry detergent by mixing the detergent with water, refill the tanks with the soapy water, the sloshing motion from driving will clean all the nooks and crannies of your tanks. Then, drain the tanks a second time.
-
Install the water tank.
-
Sanitize the system using bleach. We recommend 180-240ml of bleach per 40L of water that your fresh water tank can hold. Fill the tanks up, add the bleach and let it sit for a minimum of one hour. If possible, drive around with this solution in the tank. This will make the water swoosh around and aid in getting the bleach solution all over the tank. Let this solution sit in the tank for a few hours. Then, drain the system again, open all faucets and let the water drain out. Let your RV water system stay with that bleach smell for another 3 hours at the very least. You can now refill and drain the tank as many times as possible, run your faucet and shower until you make sure there is no trace of bleach left in the system. At this point, your new holding tank and water system should be ready to use.
