CAUTION

WARNING

  1. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
  2. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, DO NOT use this fan with any solid­state speed control devices.

RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION

  1. Never insert fingers, pencils, or any other object through the grille when the fan is running.
  2. Disconnect the fan when moving from one location to another.
  3. Disconnect the fan when removing the grille for cleaning.
  4. Be sure the fan is on a stable surface when operating to avoid overturning.
  5. Do not use the fan in the window. Rain may create an electrical hazard.
  6. Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains before removing the grille.

The rules about cord and plug are as below:

  1. This product employs a blown fuse indicating an overload or short-circuits situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the products. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded or returned to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
  2. Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard the fan or return it to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
  3. Do not run the cord under the carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route the cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange the cord away from the traffic area so that it will not be tripped over.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Plug the power supply cord into a wall outlet.
  2. Fan speed is controlled by the rotary switch. 1 =Low, 0 =OFF and 2 =High
  3. The direction of the airflow can be adjusted upward or downward by loosening the angle adjustment knob. Retighten the knob securely.
  4. The fan has three parts: the fan head, the clip, and the base.
  • To make a desk fan: loosen the butterfly screw on the fan head, then attach the plastic base to the fan head and tighten the butterfly screw.
  • To make a clip fan: loosen the butterfly screw on the fan head, then attach the plastic clip to the fan head and tighten the butterfly screw.

CLIPPING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place the clip onto a secure structure. The clip can accommodate a 1.65-inch thick structure.

  2. Fig.1 through Fig.3 illustrates the wrong way To clip to a structure and the wrong kind of structures to clip. Clip as shown to reduce the risk of damage.

USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.

  2. Open fuse cover. Slide open fuse access cover on top of attachment plug towards blades.

  3. Remove the fuse carefully. Push the fuse from the other side or turn the householder over to remove the fuse.

  4. Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 2.5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse.

  5. Close fuse cover. Slide closed the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug.

  6. Risk of fire. Do not replace the attachment plug. Contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard the product if the attachment plug is damaged.

Notice:

  1. When you replace the fuse, please don’t operate suddenly or overexert, or else the product will be damaged or cause an accident.
  2. When you feel it is hard to be operated, please make sure you put it in the right way.

CLEANING

  1. Be sure to unplug from the electrical supply source before cleaning.
  2. Plastic parts should be cleaned with mild soap and a damp cloth or sponge. Thoroughly remove the soap film with clean water.
  3. Be sure not to let water or other liquid enter the motor.

No, this fan does not have a remote control.

How long is the power cord?****

The power cord is about 1.5 meters long.

Yes, I continuously use mine.

What is the energy usage?****

Only 0.25 amps are used by the fan. That is approximately 27 watts.

How much cord is there?****

It is roughly 6 feet long. My daughter’s dorm was the ideal place for it.

The clip opens to what size?****

Since the fan is installed on the base of the tabletop, I am unable to be more precise. We probably tried to clip it on a bedpost that was 3 inches wide, but it wouldn’t open that wide.

Can this fan be recharged?****

No, this fan is battery-free; it is exclusively corded.

Why is there a CA Prop 65 notice on this fan? possibly as a result of the power cord?****

No. It comes with a clip and a stand as its two attachments. It can either stand on a table or be fastened to a headboard. The water table, your grandchildren can have cancer in the future.
