POSITIONING

The solar spotlight should not be placed near to other light sources such as street lamps or other lamps, so that the motion sensor can respond and the LEDs can be switched on automatically.
Place the solar spotlight in a location where the solar unit can absorb direct sunlight all day long if possible. Thanks to the connecting cable, the solar unit can be positioned flexibly within a radius of up to 3 m.

Wall Mounting

  1. Place the wall mounting bracket on the shaft of the lamp head on the wall and mark out two drill holes.
  2. Drill holes into the wall and place anchors in them.
  3. Then fix the wall mounting bracket in place with screws and tighten.

Ground Spike

  1.  Push the ground spike into the shaft of the lamp head.
  2. Anchor the ground spike in the ground.

Solar Unit

  1. Slide the solar unit onto the lamp head from behind until it engages.
  2. To detach the solar unit from the lamp head, pull on the locking lug and pull the solar unit off the lamp head. Alternatively, the solar unit can also be attached to the base.

CHANGING THE BATTERY IN THE REMOTE CONTROL

The battery is already inserted. All you need to do is pull out the transport safeguard.
Before inserting the battery, check whether it is clean and clean it if necessary.

  1. The battery compartment is located on the narrow side of the remote control. Pull it out as shown.
  2. Take out the used battery and in sert a new battery (3 V, CR2025). The positive pole must be facing upwards.
  3. Slide the battery compartment into the remote control. You should feel and hear it click into place.

SWITCHING ON AND OFF

  • Slide the On / Off switch on the bottom of the lamp head to the right to switch on the product.
If the product has been switched on using the On / Off switch on the lamp head, the product can also be con trolled using the remote control.
In order to check if the product is switched on during day light, cover the solar unit with your hand. If the LEDs light up, the product is switched on.
When the product is switched on, the battery can charge up in daylight.

  • When darkness sets in, the motion sensor and the LEDs become active. Three different modes can be set:

Mode 1| • The LEDs are switched off.
• When any movement is registered, the LEDs switch on at 100% brightness.
• The LEDs switch off after around 20 seconds without registering a movement.
---|---
Mode 2| • The LEDs are switched off.
• When any movement is registered, the LEDs switch on at 100% brightness.
• The LEDs switch to 20% brightness after around 20 seconds without registering a movement.
Mode 3| • During darkness, the LEDs light up con-stantly at 30% brightness.
• The motion detector is deactivated.

The modes can be set by pressing the corresponding but tons 1, 2, 3 on the remote control.

  • When the product is not in use, switch it off by sliding the On / Off switch to the left.

Please Note : The battery performance may be severely re stricted in temperatures well below freezing.

CLEANING

  • Keep the solar unit clean so that the greatest possible absorption of light is ensured. Wipe down the solar panel (and if necessary also the remaining components of the
    product) with a damp cloth.
