One Sync Low Voltage Controller Installation
Turning off the Power
- Turn off power at the breaker and confirm the transformer is not powered.
Removing the Cable Wires
- If you have a pre-existing low voltage cable connected to the transformer, remove these cable wires from the
transformer output terminals.
Positioning the One Sync Low Voltage Controller
- Position the One Sync Low Voltage Controller (AA) 6 in. beneath the transformer terminals. Ensure that the input wires of the Low Voltage Controller (AA) will reach the transformer terminals, and the low voltage landscape cable wires will reach the Low Voltage Controller (AA) output.
Connecting the Wires
- Wire the input One Sync Low Voltage Controller (AA) into the transformer. Connect the black wire to the 12V terminal on the transformer and the white wire to the COM terminal.
NOTE: Operates on 12V-15V input.
Loosening the Output Screws
- Open the waterproof cover of the output wires and loosen the screws to allow wire insertion.
Do not completely remove the screws.
Inserting the Landscape Cable Wire
- Open and remove the rubber gasket from the output terminals. Insert the landscape cable wires into the
One Sync Low Voltage Controller (AA) rubber gasket, then into the output terminals.
NOTE: Output terminal is rated for LJ 12-16AWG landscape wire.
Replacing the Waterproof Cover
- Tighten screws on the front of the One Sync Low Voltage Controller (AA) using a flathead screwdriver and close the waterproof cover. Slide the Output terminal rubber gasket upward until the Output terminals are completely sealed.
Securing the One sync Low Voltage Controller
- Secure the One Sync Low Voltage Controller (AA) to a surface by screwing in each corner with the included screws (CC). Make sure that all wires are not overly strained.
Pairing to a One Sync Remote (Not Included)
The One Sync remote has a 100ft control range and will command all paired fixtures within 100ft of the remote.
All One Sync fixtures are equipped with a signal repeater that will repeat any remote commands to all other fixtures within 100ft. Placing fixtures within 100ft of at least one other fixture creates a control network and allows for unlimited remote control range, as long as there is a functioning One Sync fixture within 100ft to relay the command.
Turning the Low Voltage Controller On
- Press the button to turn the One Sync Low Voltage Controller (AA) on and off.
NOTE: The transformer powering the Low Voltage Controller (AA) must be U always on. Remove any timers or Dusk to Dawn settings.
Pairing Low Voltage Controller
-
Hold down the button on the One Sync Low Voltage Controller (AA) to enter pairing mode.
The LED indicator will blink and will be in pairing mode for 3 minutes. -
Press and hold down the desired group button on the One Sync remote for 5 seconds.
When successfully paired, the LED indicator on the One Sync Low Voltage Controller (AA) will flash and stop blinking
NOTE: The One Sync Low Voltage Controller (AA) is pre-paired to the universal group one. It will respond to any One Sync remote operating on group
Unpairing the Low Voltage Controller from One Sync Remote Groups
-
Hold down the button on the OneSync Low Voltage Controller (AA) to enter pairing mode.
The LED indicator will blink and will be in pairing mode for 3 minutes. -
On the One Sync Remote, press the group number that you wish to unpair the One Sync Low Voltage Controller (AA) from. Hold down the off button on the One Sync remote for 5 seconds. When successfully unpaired, the LED indicator on the One Sync Low Voltage Controller (AA) will stop blinking.
