AVC Auto Calibration
This vehicle is equipped with AVC Auto Calibration. A new easier way for you
to experience Spektrum AVC. If your vehicle and transmitter came together in
the box, you do not need to follow these steps.
The transmitter and vehicle have already been calibrated. Just set the vehicle
down on its wheels, power it on and enjoy.
If you are reprogramming your radio, adding a new receiver, or updated the
electronics, you will need to follow these binding and calibration steps:
- Place vehicle on its wheels (level) and motionless (not moving).
- Press and hold the bind button on the receiver.
- Power on the receiver. The orange LED flashes, indicating the receiver is in bind mode. Release the bind button after the orange LED illuminates.
- Put your transmitter in bind mode.
- After a few seconds the steering will twitch indicating the system is bound, calibrated, and connected. The orange LED on the receiver will remain solid lit.
- Once in bind mode the vehicle must be on it’s wheels (level) and must be still.
Note: On future power cycles tones were added to the transmitter to
indicate when the system is not yet connected thus requiring the vehicle be
level and motionless. Turn off vehicle, sit it on its wheels (level) and
motionless, then power on again.
