  1. Pull the crown out to Position #3.

SETTING THE MOONPHASE

  1. Carefully remove the plastic stopper from the crown with your fingers / fingernails. Do not use a sharp instrument.
  2. Pull the crown out to position #2. Then rotate the crown counterclockwise to change the phase of the moon. Keep rotating until you see the full moon. Keep the crown in position #2.
  3. Refer to the full moon calendar on the back page. Calculate how many days have passed since the last full moon, rotate the crown anticlockwise very slowly. You will hear a distinctive “click” as you rotate the crown. Keep rotating the crown slowly until the number of clicks equals the number of days passed since the last full moon.
  4. Push the crown into position #1 for normal timekeeping mode.

WARRANTY

Xeric offers a limited warranty of defects in materials and manufacturing defects for a period of one (1) year after the original purchase from an authorized Xeric dealer. This means that if the materials in your watch aren’t right or if the watch isn’t put together correctly, we’ll repair or replace it, at our option. But, this doesn’t mean you can abuse your watch and expect us to fix it for free. The warranty doesn’t cover normal wear and tear, batteries, crystal, watch case, strap, bracelet, loss or theft. You will void your warranty if you open your caseback, push the buttons underwater, or forget to screw down or push in the crown and expose your watch to moisture. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims and service requests so hold onto your receipt. Xeric will not accept a warranty claim or repair request if a watch has evidence of excessive wear or misuse.
