Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

Carefully read this instruction manual before using the appliance.

Ensure children and babies do not play with plastic bags or any packaging materials.

Do not disassemble the Appliance, other than when replacing the filter, and/or USB cable. There are no user-serviceable parts inside,
VERY IMPORTANT:- Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids or use near sinks, baths or showers.
- Ensure that the charger (not supplied) and/or USB cable does not get wet (water splashes etc.).
- Do not use your charger or the USB cable with wet hands.
- Keep away from pets.
- The unit must not be left unattended when in use or when charging.

Only Charge the Appliance with the USB cable that was supplied with the Appliance.

The appliance should always be placed on a firm and flat surface.

Only Charge the Appliance from an Extra Low Voltage Battery Charger (not supplied) with an output rating the same as indicated on the Appliance’s rating label.

Position the USB cable properly so that they will not be walked on or pinched by items placed on or against them.
-
Use the Appliance, accessories and USB cable only for its intended use. The Appliance, accessories and USB cable are intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial use.

Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or any part of the appliance (including power supply and cord) has been damaged.

If the USB cable is damaged, call our customer service for a replacement.

The use of accessories not intended for use with this Appliance may cause injuries to the user or damage to the Appliance, components and/or the USB cable.

Do not install the unit on other appliances, on uneven surfaces or where it could be subject to heat sources (e.g., radiators or stoves), direct sunlight, excessive dust or mechanical vibrations.

Appliance should not be used outdoors.

Do not place near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus that produce heat.

Do not hang or wall-mount the appliance.

Do not operate appliance underneath or near flammable or combustible materials (e.g., curtains). Keep at least 300mm clearance around the sides, back, front and top. If using in a bedroom, ensure the appliance is at least 1.2 meters away from the bed and bed clothing.

Do not allow curtains, drapes or any other items to drape across the appliance or openings.

Always switch off and unplug the USB charger cable when finished charging the appliance, or during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.

Do not block any ventilation openings. Do not cover the appliance or charger when charging or when in use,
-
Never insert or allow foreign objects to enter the grille openings as this may cause damage to the appliance and/or injury to the user.

Do not use the product in oily or dirty areas (i.e., the kitchen, smoky place, etc), as the air vents may become blocked.

NEVER operate the unit without the filter fitted.

Turn off and unplug before cleaning or storing.

If this appliance is used by a third party, please supply the instruction manual with it.

Do not misuse the USB cable. Never carry the Appliance by the USB cable or pull to disconnect it from the socket. Instead, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.

This product has not been designed for any uses other than those specified in this manual.

ONLY for domestic use. Industrial or commercial use invalidates the warranty.

Do not leave the Appliance running or charging unattended.

No liability can be accepted for any damage caused by non-compliance with these instructions or any other improper use or mishandling of the Appliance and/or USB cable.
WARNING
Only use the USB Cable which was supplied with this appliance.
Consumers are cautioned against using and/or purchasing counterfeit and/or
inferior quality batteries. These batteries have the potential to cause fire,
personal injury, and/or damage to property. These batteries are typically
found on online-auction websites or from other retailers and are known to pose
a potential safety risk.
This appliance contains batteries that are Non-replaceable.
Never try to recharge Non-Rechargeable batteries as they may explode, catch on fire or cause personal injury and/or damage to property.
- May explode if disposed of in fire.
- To prevent injury or burns, do not allow metal objects to contact battery terminals.
- Do not use or store in temperatures above 40°C
Contact your local waste management authority for more information on Battery Recycling and disposal regulations in your area.
Do not dispose of electrical appliances or batteries as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities. Contact your local council for information regarding the collection systems available. If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being. Please contact your local council or regional authority for more information on the collection, reuse, and recycling programmes.

Introduction to the Functions
- Multi-stage filtration system which can effectively remove haze, dust, dander, fine pet hair, pollen, smoke, Bacteria, Microbes and formaldehyde.
- The HEPA filter can remove ≥0.5-micron particles with a purification rate of up to 95%.
- Negative ion function which is capable of refreshing the surrounding air.
- Auto Off Time. Timer is in increments of 2 Hour 4Hour and 8Hour.
Transporting your Air Purifier
To move your Air Purifier from room to room, unplug the unit and carry using
the flip-up carry handle.
Never pull or carry the Air Purifier by its Charger cable.
Preparation
Always operate the appliance on a flat, level and stable surface.
Important: Ensure you read the Safety Instructions before use as there are
important notes you need to know about to prevent injury and damage.
NOTE : This appliance is not a personal fan and does not blow strong air like a personal fan.
Charging / Power
The battery can be charged at the same time the unit is being used.
Insert the small plug end of the USB cable into the socket on the back of the
unit as shown.
Insert the other end of the USB cable into a USB power supply (not supplied).
Note: When power / charge is supplied to the unit, the indicator light
above the On / Off switch will blink Blue Light.
When fully charged, the light will stop blinking and remain on.
IMPORTANT : NEVER BLOCK ANY VENTS OR OPENINGS, OR COVER THE UNIT WHILE CHARGING.
Operation
On / Off
Press the On / Off on the top of the control panel.
When power / charge is supplied to the unit, the indicator light above the On
/ Off switch will blink Blue Light.
To turn it off, press the On/Off button again.
Speed
There are two speed settings High and Low.
Note: when the unit is first turned on, it will start in default mode being
Low-Speed Setting and the indicator light above the “Fan” speed button and
next to the “I” will illuminate Blue.
Press the Fan Speed Button on the top of the control panel to change to High-
Speed setting.
The indicator light above the “Fan” speed button and next to the “I” will turn
off and the indicator light next to the “II” will illuminate Blue.
To turn it off, press the On/Off button.
Auto-Off Off Timer
The unit is fitted with an Auto-Off function which will turn the unit off
depending on your setting.
The Timer is in increments of 2 Hours. 2H – 4H – 8H
To enter the Auto Off setting, Press the timer button once and the indicator
light next to the “2H” will illuminate Blue indicating 2 hours until auto Off.
Press the timer button again and the indicator light next to the “4H” will illuminate Blue indicating 4 hours until auto Off.
Press the timer button again and the indicator light next to the “8H” will
illuminate Blue indicating 8 hours until auto Off.
Press the timer button again and all indicator lights will turn off indicating
no auto-off timer has been set.
Care and Cleaning
Important: Switch off and unplug the Power Supply from the appliance before
cleaning.
NOTE: To maximise the performance of your Air Purifier, you should
replace the filter every 6 months or sooner depending on air quality.
A new filter can be purchased from Kmart.
Cleaning / Replacing the Filter
Important Note – The Filter should be replaced every 6 months or sooner depending on air quality.
Note: The filter is NOT washable.
To clean the filter if it is very dirty, remove it from the appliance and just
tap the edge of the filter gently on a hard surface to dislodge any dust and
debris, or use a Vacuum cleaner hose to suck out the dust and debris.
To access the filter, first remove the back grille by pressing down on the
tab, pulling the top forward then lift up and out.
Grasp the Filter Ribbon and pull it straight out to remove it.
Refit the filter (or replace it with a new one) in the reverse order and
method used for disassembly. Ensure the Filter Ribbon is facing outward.
Refit the rear grille, by aligning the tabs in their slots, swing closed and
push in to make sure the clip locks.
Cleaning the Appliance

With the unit turned off and unplugged, remove the filter as described previously.

Clean the outside surfaces with a clean, damp cloth and wipe dry.
A mild detergent may be used, however, DO NOT allow any detergent to get onto the filter.
IMPORTANT: Do not use flammable liquids, chemicals, abrasive creams, steel wool or scouring pads for cleaning.
Never spray with liquids or submerge the unit in water or any other liquid. -
Refit the filter and rear grille, and ensure the unit is completely dry before use.
Storage
• Switch off and unplug the unit.
• Coil the USB cable loosely. Do not kink or pull the cable tight.
• Store in a cool dry well-ventilated area.

Troubleshooting

Check that the USB cable is inserted correctly and fully into the appliance
and USB power supply / battery charger.
Unit turned off unexpectedly

The battery has run flat. Recharge Battery.
The Auto Off function was activated and the selected time has expired. Either reset the Auto Off function to the time you require, or turn Auto Off Function off.
Noisy operation
| Clean the filter and air grilles.
Check for partial blockages and unblock.
Air Flow is Not Strong| This appliance is not a personal fan and does not blow
strong air like a personal fan.
If speed setting “I” is selected, try setting “II”
If the airflow is not as good as it was when new, the filter could be blocked
due to dust and debris collected from the air.
**** Clean the filter or replace it with a new one.
No Response to pressing the buttons when power is available.| ****
Disconnect and then reconnect to the USB cable to restart the unit. If this does not fix it, call customer service.
Warranty Against Defect
12 Month Warranty
Thank you for your purchase from Kmart.
Kmart Australia Ltd warrants your new product to be free from defects in
materials and workmanship for the period stated above, from the date of
purchase, provided that the product is used in accordance with accompanying
recommendations or instructions where provided. This warranty is in addition
to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Kmart will provide you with your choice of a refund, repair or exchange (where possible) for this product if it becomes defective within the warranty period. Kmart will bear the reasonable expense of claiming the warranty. This warranty will no longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration, accident, misuse, abuse or neglect.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
For New Zealand customers, this warranty is in addition to statutory rights observed under New Zealand legislation.
