WIRED SYSTEM OVERVIEW
Encelium X enables you to control DALI devices. With any Encelium wired design, you get a reliable, lighting control system that can be installed quickly and easily.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
- STEP 1
Remove the High-Bay Sensor cover by turning it counterclockwise. Place cover aside.
Proceed to Step 2 if you are installing the High-Bay Sensor into the DALI High-Bay Adapter.
- STEP 2
Remove the cover plate by turning counterclockwise and lifting up. The included cover plate is not needed when the High-Bay Sensor is mounted into the DALI High-Bay Adapter.
- STEP 3: CEILING INTEGRATION WITH DALI HIGH-BAY ADAPTER
Cut a Ø 22 mm (0.87 inch) hole in the ceiling. Line up the DALI High-Bay Adapter holes to the ceiling hole and screw into the ceiling. Connect the Mains and DALI wires into the DALI High-Bay Adapter connector block. Connect the High-Bay Sensor wires into the DALI High-Bay Adapter connector block. Place the High-Bay Sensor into the DALI High-Bay Adapter and push until it clicks into place. Then install the High-Bay Sensor Cover by turning clockwise until it is secure.
DALI HIGH-BAY ADAPTER FEATURES
The DALI High-Bay Adapter features a SELECT Button, Sensitivity Adjustment, Light Sensor, and LED Indicator. To confirm wiring connections quickly press the SELECT Button. If DALI voltage is present the LED Indicator will turn on. Another quick press to the SELECT Button will turn off the LED Indicator, otherwise it will switch off after 30 seconds. The Sensitivity Adjustment allows the lights to be set from bright to dark. The Light Sensor can be adjusted in its sensitivity by a potentiometer for optimize measurement window usage (see the Light Sensitivity Range details below).

FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS
To reset the DALI High-Bay Adapter to factory default settings, press and hold
the SELECT button for approximately 10 seconds. The LED Indicator will blink
for 4 seconds.
Note: Resetting to factory default settings will delete the DALI short
address and require the device to be re-commissioned. This does not reset the
High-Bay Sensor to factory default settings.
SENSOR DETECTION RANGE
The detection range of the High-Bay Sensor must be set before it can detect motion. Place objects that radiate heat outside the detection area and avoid drafts.
