MAHLE X35 SmartBike Systems
General information
This charger must only be used with bicycles that have MAHLE XSeries systems to charge 36V Lithium lon batteries. Do not connect the charger to other batteries or use other chargers that are not certified by MAHLE. Check that the charger is suitable for the network voltage it will be connected to. Follow the manufacturers recommendations.

Automatic reverse polarity protection. lf it is connected incorrectly, the charger stops the power supply avoiding damage to the battery. In the event of a permanent short circuit, the charger automatically stops the charge and switches off.

The charger LED does not turn on when connecting it to a wall socket:
- a. Connect the chargerto another wall socket that works
- b. Check that the charger’s cable is in good condition and correctly connected to the wall socket and the charger,
If the problem continues, ask for help at your shop or authorised technical support service. Do not open or try to fix the charger yourself.

The LED is RED after connecting the charger to the wall socket and before the charger is connected to the battery:

Safety
- This Charger meets the requirements of European Directive RoHS for electronic products.
- Do notopen or tryto fix the charger under any cirCumstances.
- Do not cover the charger. It could overheat. Remember that it is designed to be used indoors and in dry placees.
- If the bike or the battery are to0 cold, wait until they warm up betfore starting the charging process.
- This equipment is not designed to be used by children or people who cannot understand the instructions manual unless they are supervised by an adult. Store the charger in a safe place. Keep Out of the reach of children.
- Only use plug adapters if the ElLECTRICITY MAINS (AC) are compatible with the charger’s voltage 90-264V, 50-60H2).
- Do not throw the charger out with household waste. It contains electric elements that must be recycled by a competent body. Check your country’s regulations for suitable recycling.
