Design with a 30° variable angle that lets you change the light’s direction. It is more stable because of the 2.2kg weight of the improved base. It is 190 centimeters long (including the power adaptor wire and lamp extension cord.). When turned on, it maintains the brightness and color settings that you have previously set. Connect and play. SPECIFICATION

**BEFORE ASSEMBLY**

1. Inspect lamp before beginning assembly. Wire connections have been made at the factory and the lamp is ready for assembly.
2. Remove all packing materials from the lamp.
3. To prevent bad connections, avoid pulling wiring connections when removing contents from package or during installation.
4. Lay out all the parts on a flat surface.
5. The floor lamp consists of seven parts: 1x Lamp Head, 4x Pole , 1x Lamp Base, 1x Electric Wire with Adapter (Refer to illustration).

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTION

1. Place the lamp base on flat surface, then screw each two parts clockwise in order.

NOTE:

• Please take care not to pinch or damage the wires.
• For better installation, please tighten the bottom pole and lamp base firstly.
• Make sure each section of tubes are tightened.

2. Plug adapter into outlet and now the lamp is ready for use.

ADJUSTMENT

For best performance, please adjust the lamp position to directly above your area of reading/working.

PART ONE DOWNLOAD THE APP

STEP A: SMART LIFE APP INSTALLATION Please choose either way below to download and install the app.

1. As per your phone system, choose the QR code to scan.
2. Search keyword ‘Smart Life’ in Apple Store or Google Play.

STEP B: CREATE AN ACCOUNT ON SMART LIFE AND LOGIN.

NOTE: Please keep your account and password in mind for Alexa or Google Assistant App pairing later.

PART TWO: PAIR THE SMART FLOOD LAMP TO “SMART LIFE” APP

1. TURN INTO PAIRING MODE (2 OPTIONS)

• Short-touch the Power button 6 times (ON/OFF/ON/OFF/ON/OFF), the lamp will flash rapidly and then flash slowly 3times.
• Long touch the power button for 5 seconds, the lamp will flash rapidly and then flash slowly 3 times.

NOTE: the lamp will automatically drop out pairing mode if no any mobile devices connect within 5 minutes.

PART THREE – HOW TO CONTROL THE LIGHT WITH AMAZON ALEXA?

Please make sure that your Alexa app is connected to Echo, and both work well under your Wi-Fi network.

STEP A: Log in your Alexa App, tap top left corner, and tap ‘skills’.

STEP B: Type ‘Smart Life’ from the search result and tap it to enable the skill.

STEP C: Enter your Smart Life App account and password. Tap ‘Link Now’, then tap Authorize’ on the next page to bind Smart Life account to Alexa .

STEP D: When your Smart Life account is bound to Alexa, tap ‘DISCOVE DEVICES’ to detect the light.

STEP E: When the named light is paired to Alexa from Smart Life, it will show on the device page (see the ‘smart light’ example).

STEP F: Now you can control the light with Alexa App on the setting page. To turn on or off the light, simply tap the bulb icon.

STEP G: You can also voice control the light with Alexa by giving these commands: “Alexa, turn on ‘device name, “Alexa, set ‘device name’ to ‘color’, “Alexa, set ‘device name’ to ‘number’. Device name is the one you give to the light. The light is named ‘smart light’ in this user guide. For example, “Alexa, turn on ‘smart light’ “, “Alexa, set ‘smart light’ to ‘blue’ ” etc.

NOTE: To control the light with Google Assistant, please continue to read Part Four.

PART FOUR – HOW TO CONTROL THE LIGHT WITH GOOGLE ASSISTANT?

STEP A: Login Google Assistant App, tap ‘Home Control on the left side bar page.

STEP B: Tap button on the bottom right to enter next page.

STEP C: Find ‘Smart Life’ from side bar list.

STEP D: Enter your Smart Life App account and password to bind Smart Life account to Google Assistant.

STEP E: You will find the named light shows on the Home Control page. Now you can control the light on Google Assistant App, or voice control it by giving these commands: “ok Google, turn on ‘device name'”, “ok Google, set ‘device name’ to color”, “ok Google, set ‘device name’ to ‘number”.

Device name is the one you give to the light. The light is named ‘smart light’ in this user guide. For example, “ok Google, turn on ‘smart light’ “, “ok Google, set ‘smart light’ to ‘blue’ etc.

Do not exceed the Max. output 5V/1A, or it will cause the buttons out of work.

WARNING

• Cut off the power before installation.
• Keep it away from flammables and fire source.
• Replacing and clean to avoid electricity touched.
• Lamp is operated in dimming circuit
• Keep it away from water.
• Assumable the lamp according to the instructions and do not rebuild.
• Do not stare at the lamp for a long time.
• Assemble, take apart or move the lamp gently.
• Please do not cover anything on the lamp head and avoid bending and bumping the lamp pole.

FAQs

Does the app have a timer function?

Yes, the app has an on/off timer function. It could also adjust its color.

how do I setup the lights in Apple’s home app? The home app needs homekit setup code.

I set it up on my iPhone using the home app. the only thing is that you have to have the 2.4 MHz.

How to connect with Smart life App?

1.Turn on the Wi-Fi Bluetooth and location of your phone

2.Long touch the Power button for 5 seconds, the lamp will flash rapidly

3.Open the smart life App, select add device, select add lighting, select Lighting(Wi-Fi)

4.Enter the Wi-Fi password, waiting for the pairing successfully( Note: it only works for 2.4G Wi-Fi)

5.There is a quick way to pair, when you add the device, choose the Auto Scan, it will find the device and pair automatically.

What type of plug does it have? 2 prong or 3 prong?

2 prong.

The light is offline, I am not able to disconnect and re- connect to a different network.

Actually, there’s another updated new pair mode, you could try this way.

First, connect your WIFI then turn on Bluetooth and location on your phone setting interface

Second, Long press the power button for 5 seconds until the light flicker quickly (Only support 2.4ghz Wi-Fi)

At last, open your Smart Life APP, click (add device) click (Auto scan), it usually needs 30-60 seconds, confirm your Wi-Fi, then you could confirm the light.

How do you get the music to work?

Choose “Music” mode via “Smart Life” App. Then the lighting will change with the rhythm of the music

How does this light compare to a ring light? I’m looking for a lamp that gives me more flattering light for video calls. Can I tilt towards my face?

Of course, you can tilt it towards your face. This provides more colors to choose. Besides, you can also dim its brightness according to different scenes.

will this work on a switched plug? e.g. I kill power to plug by light switch, when I turn back on, power restored to plug will activate light?

Yes, BUT it will not remember its last setting AND it take about 5 seconds after power on to illuminate to the default white light.

How can I control two in sync? “group” stopped working. made new “group” of same 2 lamps. still does not work.

Group works for me, try reinstalling the app

Can multiple units be placed in different rooms and synced to play the same music?

Yes, they can

Does this have a built-in speaker? Images suggest it does.

No, it doesn’t. You should use Alexa or google to use “voice control”. Besides, the light color will change while music on

failure to pair? I was successful once, after 11 attempts. Deleted profile and aps, reinstalled, now 58 attempts it still fails. Yes, followed steps.

I can’t connect the light to my phone- I have tried everything. I’m considering returning the item tomorrow

It’s needs to be connected through a 2.4 ghz, not 5 ghz Wi-Fi. Depending on your setup, it may be easier to return it.

How do I setup in apple’s home app? it asks for homekit code. where can I find that? lamps are already connected to the smart app (2.4 ghz).

I downloaded SMART LIFE app. This is the app it suggested in its manual.

Can you have two or three in the same house and be able to set them differently without changing the others?
