Frequently Asked Questions

How long will each period last? Can it sustain me for a week? More? Less?****

Depending on how much you feed your dog or cat and how large they are Our cat receives half a cup of dry food daily, and it lasts for three weeks.

Is this free of BPA?****

Yes, you can use it safely and without worrying for your pet.

Is it possible to place an order for a new cord?****

It might be a USB with a plug on the other end, I’m not sure. Any old USB drive might work, I suppose.

When I plugged it back in after unplugging it to reposition it, it continued to dispense food. Any suggestions on how to stop it?****

Remove any batteries from it, if any are present. Replace them, then plug it back in. then resetting the times.

Will this pet feeder be adequate while I’m away for five days and four nights?****

My two cats were left alone for eight days, and when I came back, they still had plenty of food in the reservoir up top. They were regularly consuming 3 meals, each sized as “2” or “3” by the machine. 3 pounds of food can fit inside.

What takes place in the event of a power outage?****

If you install batteries, the feeder will be dependent on the battery power in the event of a power outage.

How long does a cat feeder work automatically?****

The low battery indication will let you know when it’s time to change the batteries, which should last for up to four months of everyday use. Smaller cats (or other small pets) who don’t require a lot of food to be dispensed per meal may benefit greatly from using this robot-shaped Iseebiz feeder(opens in a new tab).

When should I set the automatic cat feeder to start?****

Most people think that meals at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. or 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. work since cats should eat at intervals of about 12 hours. Any time should work as long as the times are consistent and are spaced roughly 12 hours apart.

How many servings should a cat feeder be automatic?****

Approximately 2.5 tablespoons of dry cat chow make up one serving. Adult cats normally need 16 of these pieces each day, depending on the caloric content of their kibble. You have a fair bit of leeway in how much you want your cat to consume each day with up to 9 parts every meal—roughly 14 of a cup.

Can I use an automatic feeder with wet food?****

Yes, but there’s a catch: to keep it fresh and prevent spoilage, wet cat food should ideally be covered and kept in the refrigerator for no more than a few hours at a time. You should choose a feeder that can accomplish both in order to provide the optimal environment for wet cat food.

When is the best time of day to feed cats?****

The optimum times to feed cats are typically at dawn and dusk because that is when they would naturally be searching and catching prey in the wild. Depending on their age, size, and level of activity, your cat should consume between 200 and 300 calories daily, on average.
