TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Stream Box S2 Ultra:
New Spotify integration and Spotify Connect with Firmware Update 1.079
The latest Stream Box S2 Ultra Firmware upgrade brings a completely
redeveloped Spotify integration along with Spotify Connect!
The update can be installed as per usual within the Stream Box S2 Ultra Web-
Interface under System -> System Updates.
Firmware Update 1.079 consists of the following changes and improvements:
- Fixed Metadata display for artists and albums
- New Spotify Integration
- Spotify Connect
- Smaller bugfixes and improvements
To use Spotify Connect you dont need to be logged in to Spotify on the Stream Box S2 Ultra. Just do the update, wait until it is installed and the Stream Box has restarted and youll find it as a Spotify Connect device when clicking
the small speaker symbol in the Spotify App.
