Product Usage Instructions

Install the Lumary App

  1. Download and install the Lumary App from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Register a Lumary account using your email address and log into the app.
  3. During setup, ensure that you connect your Lumary products to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Note: These products do not support 5GHz networks.
  4. Select your region and country for accurate settings.

Troubleshooting

Remote Control

The remote control provided can manage both networked and networked lights. Follow these steps:

  • If the light is not paired, turn off the power for 5 seconds, then turn it back on and press the on/off button to complete pairing.
  • If pairing is unsuccessful, repeat the pairing process.

App Functions

Upon entering the Lumary App, you will find five main sections:

  1. On/Off: Controls the overall set of lights.
  2. Color: Allows individual light color control and transitions.
  3. Scene: Offers various scene modes and supports scene creation.
  4. Music: Enables music synchronization with light rhythm through the phone’s microphone. Be mindful of privacy concerns when using this feature.

Install the “Lumary” App

  1. Find and install the “Lumary” App on the Apple Store, Google Play

  3. Connect
    • NOTE : Lumary products can’t connect to 5GHz networks.

Steps

  1. Advised to enable Bluetooth, Enable Bluetooth to add some Wi-Fi devices easily;
  2. Each time the device without a distribution network is powered on, confirm the light is breathing or blinking in pairing mode;
  3. Open the Lumary App, In the top corner of the Devices screen, click ”+” and select ”Add Device” to confirm that the device is paired. If not, you need long press button 5s to confirm the light is blinking.
  4. Find the device, choose Wi-Fi and enter a password, press “Next”.Click “Add”, and wait patiently. After that, click “Done”, and the device is successfully added to the App.
  5. Other ways to add devices, Open the Lumary App>>In the top corner, click “+”>> Choose “Lighting”>>Select “Light Source (BLE + Wi-Fi)” >>Select “AP Mode” or “EZ Mode” in the upper right corner

Troubleshooting

  1. Can’t connect to your Wi-Fi network. Make sure you entered the correct Wi-Fi password during the Wi-Fi setup. Check whether there are any Internet connection problems. If the Wi-Fi signal is too weak, reset your Wi-Fi router and try again.
  2. If you fail to bind, you will need two phones, one to set the hotspot and the other to connect the hotspot and add the device through the app. If the device is successfully added, the device is normal. The problem may be in the router, you need to check your router Settings to see if there are MAC and DHCP restrictions. Luminary products do not support 5GHz networks.

Remote Control

The remote control can control both networked and non-networked lights.

  1. When the light is not networked & networked, you need to turn off the power of the device for 5 seconds, then turn on the power of the light again and press the on/off button, the light appears to breathe or blink to complete the pairing.
  2. If the pairing is not successful, please repeat the steps.

App functions

When you enter the App, you can see five sections: On/Off, Colour, Scene, Music, and Plan. Detailed function description please check below:

  3. Scene. It has 44 different scene modes. Supports DIY 50+ scenes, edit your favorite scenes .

    • Tip : If you leave the music rhythm mode, the rhythm will stop. If the phone rests on the screen, the lights will stop. In order not to violate the privacy issue.
  4. Plan. The owner can freely set the on/off time of the string light every day.

Group Control

Q: Can Lumary products connect to 5GHz networks

A: No, Lumary products are designed to connect to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks only. Ensure your network is compatible during setup.

Q: How can I troubleshoot connectivity issues with my Lumary products

Why does the flickering occur with Lumary products

Lumary's products are factory set to the default network configuration. If the device has not been connected to the network, it will flash for three minutes each time it is powered on.If the device is connected to the network, it will stop flashing and will automatically connect to the network when it is switched off and on via the wall switch after 15 seconds

Can I share with family and friends

Yes, you can share access to your Lumary devices. In the Lumary App, from your main device list, click on one of the devices press the

Can I group multiple Lumary devices together

Yes, you can group multiple same-type devices by room, location, or however else you want. The same devices can be in multiple groups. For example, if you create a group for Bedroom and another group for Entire House ,your Bedroom lights can be included in both groups. From your main device list, click on one of the devices you want to group, press the ... button on the top right for advanced settings, and click Create Group .You'll be able to name a new group and choose which devices you'd like to group together.
