TO CURL HAIR

Hair should be clean and completely dry before using the curling wand.
For best results, use a light styling product before blow-drying hair.

  1. Start curling with a hair section that is 1 inch wide and no more than ½ inch thick.
  2. Open the spoon and place a hair section on the barrel, rolling up, close to the scalp. Hold for 8–12 seconds, depending on length and texture of your hair.
  3. Press the spoon handle and allow the curl to slide out.
  4. Repeat process on additional sections of hair until you achieve the hairstyle you desire. It may be necessary to repeat process on certain areas, depending on the texture of your hair.

Some experience is necessary when learning to use this curling wand. After using the wand several times, you will learn the ideal way to curl and style your hair.

TO CREATE WAVES

  1. Start by removing the spoon clip from the curling wand barrel. Always make sure to remove the clip when the barrel is cool. Take a 1-inch-wide section of hair, placing the barrel 2 inches from the scalp.
  2. Wind the section of hair around the barrel toward the cool tip.
  3. Hold the ends of the hair in place at the cool tip for 5–8 seconds, or longer, depending on hair type, and then release. No clamp allows you to easily curl hair without kinks. For tighter, bouncier waves, roll less hair. For loose, free-lowing waves, roll more hair.
  4. Repeat process on additional sections of hair until you achieve the hairstyle you desire.
