Troubleshooting steps

They’re uncomfortable” –
The customer should put the side of the product marked “L” (LEFT) onto the left ear and the side marked “R” (RIGHT) onto the right ear, slide the slider up and down so that the earpads cover the ears, and then adjust the headband. Doing this adjusts the headphones so that they sit comfortably on the customer’s head. Any reports of discomfort are user preference and/or incorrect use of the product by the user. -
Bluetooth not working corectly”
– The ATH-M50xBT2’s Line of sight range is approx. 10 m (33′). If they are further away than this (or at this range but not line of sight), it can cause problems in connectivity. Customer should be informed of the maximum operating range and should be aware that radio wave conditions and obstructions can cause problems with connectivity between Bluetooth products. -
Keeps dropping LDAC connection”
– LDAC connection cannot be dropped specifically, LDAC is a form of support for a certain sample rate and bit depth. LDAC is still part of Bluetooth connectivity and is therefore relevant to all points above for Complaint #4. If the customer has a room with several wireless devices this can cause interferences due to the radio wave traffic being busy in this room -

– Customer needs to ensure product is firstly charged and to follow the procedure laid out on pages 9 to 11 of the user manual. -
To reset the ATH-M50xBT2 headphones:
– With the headphones turned on and not connected with a Bluetooth device, press and hold (for about 6 seconds) the power supply / control button and volume buttons (+/-) at the same time.
– The indicator lamp will light in
red, the headphones will restart and then the reset will be complete.
– Make sure to remove the headphones from the list of registered devices on
your Bluetooth device and then re-pair.
