Safety guidelines
The installation and routine maintenance of the equipment must be operated by qualified and skilled staff. Before use, please read this instruction manual carefully and follow the safety guidelines.
- The device’s operating voltage is AC100-240V. Power of surveillance system must be provided by ups power or regulated power supply device. Nominal power of regulated power supply device must be 1.5 times greater than system power.
- Surveillance system must be in cophase power supply with image controller and controlling computer. Avoid cophase power supply with high power electrical devices, such as air conditioner.
- All grounding devices must be grounded reliably, such as decoder, video processor and matrix. Single point grounding shall be adopted, the ground wires of all device are connected to the equipotential bar. The ground wire should be multi-core coppei wire, shall not be short circuited or mixed with the null line of the power grid.
- Pls use the device in the environment of 5 to 40 degrees, otherwise device failures may be caused by temperature. The humidity should be 10% to 85%, Dehumidifier should be installed in high humidity environment.
- During wiring, the strong wire slot and the weak wire slot must be strictly separated do not cross. Try to short the routine distance. The connection between slots must be smooth without burrs and sharp corners. The slots must have good public grounding and good shielding.
- All Devices in the surveillance system must be grounded reliably. All grounding points must be connected to the same ground bar and ensure that the pressure difference between each equipment is zero.
- This is a class A product, may cause radio interference in the living environment. Users may be required to take actions against them.
- Keep the device far away from sources of water and fire, such as candles.
- High voltage inside, don’t open the cases of device.
- The LCD panel of device is fragile, pls handle it carefully, don’t press it heavily during the transportation and installation. Pls don’t knock, squeeze and scratch the LCD panel with a hard object.
- Pls don’t keep the device in standby mode fora long time. If you do not use the device fora long time, please unplug the power. Do not switch on and off the LCD monitor frequently, and the switching interval should not be less than 3 minutes.
- Please do not let any sharp object, metal or liquid touch the signal connector or cooling hole to avoid short circuit and product damage. It may cause electric shock, especially in the presence of children. 1

Cable Connection
HDMI cable instruction
When use 5M or above HDMI cable, High quality HMDI cable is required to get
stable signal and display. Unqualified HDMI cable may cause noise or image
instability. Both signal source and quality of HDMI cable will affect the
display.
Comments: I’ The gold plating of the joint of cable falls off or becomes loose may lead to image noise after long term use.
Remote control
Remote controls for different modes may have difference, pls subject to the
real object.

Troubleshooting
No Image on Screen.
- Check if the power button has been switched on.
- Verify the brightness and contrast of the monitor is within the normal setting.
- Check if the power indicator is flashing. If so this indicates that the monitor is not receiving the input signal.
- If the signal indicator is notebook or laptop, make sure that the signal has been switched to screen mode. Non-focus Image. Check if the image signal cable is inserted properly (upright position). Flash Screen.
- The power is insufficient to connect the monitor or too weak.
- To avoid magnetic field around the monitor, do not place these devices dose to it. Such as speakers, fluorescence lightings,AC transformer, table fan, and etc.
- By pressing the Exit key,the Auto Adjust Image function will automatically apply optimizes settings to the display. Wrong or Unusual Colour.
- If red, green, blue, or any of the colour disappears, check to see if the signal cord is connected properly.
- If the plug is loosely connected it might cause bad connection.
- Try connecting to another PC for comparison. The Whole Screen Appear Up and Down H-rolling Scan.
- Make sure that the input signal frequency is within 55-76Hz.
- Re-tighten the signal cable. How to Clean the Monitor.
- Make sure that the monitor power has been switched off.
- Do not spray any liquid on the screen orthe plastic panel directly. When Cleaning the Screen. Use clean, soft no fur materials to clean the screen. If it is still dirty, do add a little of non-ammonia liquid and non-alcohol glass cleanser to clean the screen. When Cleaning the Plastic Panel. Use soft dry cloth To add a little of non-ammonia liquid and non-alcohol of non-abrasion cleanser to clean surface if it is still unclean.

Network Security
Please take all necessary measures to enhance network security for your
device. The following are necessary measures for the network security of your
device
- Change default password and set strong password: You are strongly recommended to change the default password after your first login and set a strong password of at least nine characters including all three elements: digits, letters and special characters.
- Keep firmware up to date: It is recommended that your device is always upgraded to the latest version for the latest functions and better security. Visit Uniview’s official website or contact yourlocal dealer for the latest firmware. The following are recommendations for enhancing network security of your device: • Change password regularly: Change your device password on a regular basis and keep the password safe.Make sure only the authorized user can log in to the device.
- Enable HTTPS/SSL: Use SSL certificate to encrypt HTTP communications and ensure data security.
- Enable IP address filtering: Allow access only from the specified IP addresses.
- Minimum port mapping: Configure your router or firewall to open a minimum set of ports to the WAN and keep only the necessary port mappings. Never set the device as the DMZ host or configure a full cone NAT
- Disable the automatic login and save password features: If multiple users have access to your computer, it is recommended that you disable these features to prevent unauthorized access.
- Chooseusemameand passworddiscretely: Avoid using the username and password of your social media, bank, email account, etc, as the username and password of your device, in case your social media, bank and email account information is leaked.
- Restrict user permissions: If more than one user needs access to your system, make sure each user is granted only the necessary permissions.
- Disable UPnP: When UPnP is enabled, the router will automatically map internal ports, and the system will automatically forward port data, which results in the risks of data leakage. Therefore, it is recommended to disable UPnP if HTTP and TCP port mapping have been enabled manually on your router. \
- SNMP: Disable SNMP if you do not use it. If you do use it, then SNMPv3 is recommended.
- Multicast: Multicast is intended to transmit video to multiple devices. If you do not use this function, it is recommended you disable multicast on your network.
- Check logs: Check your device logs regularly to detect unauthorized access or abnormal operations.
- Physical protection: Keep the device in a locked room or cabinet to prevent unauthorized physical access.
- Isolate video surveillance network: Isolating your video surveillance network with other service networks helps prevent unauthorized access to devices in your security system from other service networks. Safety Warnings

The device must be installed, serviced and maintained by a trained professional with necessary safety knowledge and skills. Before you start using the device, please read through this guide carefully and make sure all applicable requirements are met to avoid danger and loss of property.
Storage Transportation, and Use -
Store or use the device in a proper environment that meets environmental requirements, including and not limited to, temperature, humidity, dust, corrosive gases, electromagnetic radiation, etc.

Make sure the device is securely installed or placed on a flat surface to prevent falling.

Unless otherwise specified, do not stack devices.
