Connect to the Populele via Bluetooth

  1. Download the “PopuMusic” APP in the APP/Google Store, install it and enable Bluetooth on your phone.
  2. Press the power button at the back of Poputar. If the LED lights flash in a dazzling mode, the Poputar has started up successfully.
  3. Open the “PopuMusic” APP, complete the registration and log in.
  4. Tap the icon of Bluetooth connection and wait. If the Poputar is found, a small guitar icon will appear on the screen.
  5. Tap the small guitar icon, then “Connected successfully” will pop up, which indicates that the Poputar is connected via Bluetooth successfully.
  6. After successful connection, the lights on the fret board stop flashing and the awaiting position continuously illuminates. You can then start to play!

Common Problems

What should you do when the Bluetooth connection fails?

  1. Make sure you connect via Bluetooth in the “PopuMusic” APP or through the Bluetooth screen of your phone.
  2. Make sure that the Poputar has started up. Press the button at the back of a Poputar to start it up. When the Poputar is not connected via Bluetooth, the LED lights on the fretboard flash in a dazzling mode. After successful connection via Bluetooth, the awaiting position continuously illuminates.
  3. The power of the batteries may be used up. Please change them with new ones.
  4. Please allow PopuMusic App access to the GPS, Microphone permissions of your phone or device.

What should you do when the APP cannot recognize or inaccurately recognize during operation?

  1. Check whether or not “Allow APP to record” is enabled in the settings of your phone.The APP can recognize only after this function is enabled.
  2. Strings may be not accurate. Please tune up strings and play again.
  3. Sound recognition of the Poputar is completed by the sound pickup element of your phone. If the playing environment is noisy, the accuracy of recognition will be affected,please try again in another place.

Notices:

  1. Do not place the Poputar in damp places or near radiators. Protect the Poputar from insolation to prevent deformation of the neck or cracks on the soundboard.
  2. Do not disassemble the internal structure purposely to prevent damaging the internal circuits of Poputar.
