To work with a wide range of smart devices, download the Mi Home app on the App Store/Google Play, or scan the following QR code to download.

Add the Hub

  1. Plug the Hub into the outlet and wait 30 seconds until the yellow light blinks quickly. Make sure your phone is connected to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
    • If you are using a dual band router, please disable the 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.
    • Keep your phone close to the Hub and make sure they are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. Please open the Mi Home app, and tap “+” at the upper right corner. iOS Users: Search “Aqara Hub”, follow the instructions to scan or manually enter the HomeKit Setup Code to add the Hub. It will automatically sync to Apple Home app.
    • You can find the HomeKit Setup Code on the back of the Hub or its packaging. Please keep the Code for future use.
  3. If you cannot add the Hub, long press the button for over 10 seconds until the yellow light blinks quickly to repeat Step Q. If you are still having trouble adding the Hub, please visit www.aqara.com/support for assistance.

Installation

  1. The Hub works best when placed in a central location in your home.
  2. The indoor transmission distance can reach up to 30 meters between the Hub and child devices with no barriers, such as walls.
