Introduction
We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. Familiarise yourself with the product before using it for the first time. In addition, please carefully refer to the operating instructions and the safety advice below. Only use the product as instructed and only for the indicated field of application. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.
Intended use
This product is designed for preparing foods.
It is suitable for use with gas, electric, halogen, induction and glass
ceramic hobs. The product is intended exclusively for private use.
Properties
Heat-resistant: pans up to 250°C, glass lids up to 180°C.
Safety instructions
WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE AND RISK OF ACCIDENT FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN! Never
leave children unsupervised with the packaging material.
There is a danger of suffocation. Keep children away from the product.

WARNING! Never leave children unsupervised near hot cooking equipment.

WEAR SAFETY GLOVES! The product gets very hot during cooking. For your safety please therefore use pot holders or oven gloves.

Take caution with hot oil or fat! Never heat the pot up on the highest energy
level if it is filled with fat. If it overheats switch the hotplate off immediately. Never lift the pot directly off the hotplate, but first allow it to stand on the cooling plate. -
Pots must never be left unattended. Fat and food can very quickly overheat and ignite.

Do not use the lid if the handle is loose. If the handle of the glass lid is loose, you can tighten the cap nut with a commercially available tool.

Do not carry the product through the kitchen when hot.

During cooking it is extremely important not to lose sight of the product while you are heating grease in it. Grease can overheat very quickly and ignite. Do not place meat which is still dripping with a hot hob could easily cause a fire.

Do not extinguish burning fat with water, instead suffocate the flames with a blanket or use a fire extinguisher.

The product is not suitable for deep frying.

Do not rinse the product with cold water.

Do not heat up the product when empty.

Heat up the product at a moderate temperature.

Do not slide or drag the product across a glass ceramic hob.

Do not scrape or slice in the product. Use wooden or plastic utensils.

Do not overheat the product. If it has been overheated, ventilate the area well.

High temperatures may discolour the exterior of the product. This does not indicate faulty material, nor does it impair the product’s quality or function.

Never add salt or brine into the empty preheated product as this could lead to corrosion. However, a reduction in product performance is not likely.

FOOD SAFE! This product has no adverse effect on taste or smell.

For optimal energy use, the cooking zone should be the same size as the base of the product and the product should be placed in the centre of the cooking zone. Only place the product on the cooking zone when the base is dry.
Before first use
Boil water in the product two to three times and clean it with a little washing-up liquid.
Use on induction hobs
- Cooking on induction hobs may result in a buzzing noise. This noise arises for technical reasons and does not indicate a fault with your hob or the product. It does not affect the cooking performance.
Note: The effective base diameter of the product is: Casserole – Ø approx. 24 cm: approx. 20,9 cm
Cleaning and care
- Allow the product to cool down properly after use before cleaning it.
- Never use a scouring pad or abrasive products for cleaning.
- Clean the product after every use with hot water, washing-up liquid and a sponge.
- The product is dishwasher safe.
- In time, the minerals in the water could give rise to stains or discolorations on the product. You can get rid of them by rubbing half a lemon over them. More stubborn stains can be removed with a mixture of nine parts water to one part vinegar essence
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose
of at local recycling facilities.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to
dispose of your worn-out product.
Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and
meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you
have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are
not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. Should
this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from
the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of
charge to you.
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original
sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of
purchase. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used
or maintained improperly.
The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does
not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered
consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches,
rechargeable batteries or glass parts.
