Safety instructions
KEEP ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND DIRECTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE!
-
Please note that the handles can become hot during cooking. Therefore, use oven mitts or potholders for your protection.
-
Do not use the pan if the handle is loose. If necessary, tighten the screw connection of the handle.
-
Always place the hot product on a heat-resistant base – never on an unprotected work surface.
-
During cooking, it is very important that you do not let the product out of your sight. Fat and food can quickly overheat and catch fire. Do not place dripping wet meat in hot fat. Fat splashing onto a glowing hotplate can easily cause a fire.
-
Do not extinguish burning fat with water. Instead, smother the flames with a blanket or use a fire extinguisher.
-
The product is not suitable for deep frying.
-
CAUTION: Do not overheat an empty pan or a pan filled with food, as this will reduce the non-stick effect or damage the coating.
-
Lightly grease the pan
-
Be careful with hot oil or fat! Never heat the pan on the highest setting if it is filled with fat. Switch off the hob immediately if it overheats. Never lift the pan directly from the hob; instead, you should let it cool down on the hob first. If overheating has occurred, ventilate the area well.
-
High temperatures can cause discolouration on the outside of the product.
This is not a material defect and does not affect the quality or function of the product. -
Only use kitchen utensils made of heat-resistant plastic or wood. Do not cut or scratch inside the pan.
-
Do not carry the product around the kitchen while it is hot.
-
Gas flames must always be adapted to the base of the product and NEVER burn beyond the side walls.
-
Attention! Always lift the product when you are cooking on hobs with glass surfaces (e.g. glass ceramic, halogen, induction hobs).
-
FOOD-SAFE! Taste and odour are not affected by this product.
-
WARNING! RISK OF DEATH OF ACCIDENTS FOR TODDLERS AND CHILDREN! Never leave the cooking area unattended. Keep children away from hot cookware. Never leave children unattended with the packaging material. There is a risk of suffocation
Before first use
- Before first use, boil and discard water in the product two to three times to completely remove any production residue.
Use on induction hobs
- Notice: Due to the electromagnetic properties of the heat source and the pan, cooking on induction hobs may cause a noise in certain circumstances. This is normal and does not indicate a defect in your induction hob or cookware.
- For optimum energy utilisation, the hob circumference should match the size of the product base and the product should be placed centrally on the hob. Only place the product on the hob with a dry base.
- Notice: Effective base diameter approx. 19,8 cm
