RICE LAKE 21229 Pelican Calibration Weight Cases

Guidelines for Selecting a Case:

• Find the diameter, height and total mass of the weights that will need a case
• Review case dimensions to determine best fit
• Note weight limits of the case and choose accordingly

Things to keep in mind:

• Foam needs 0.5 inches between weights and edge of case
• Always select the smallest case best fitting your need
• Weights should always be stored and transported in the upright position
• The shoulder edge of the weight should be level with the foam insert
• Some cases are recommended for storage only and should not be used for shipping

Industrial-Quality Cases

Medium-Duty Cases

Medium-duty cases are primarily used for manually transporting test weights as they effectively absorb shock and resist changes in environment.

• All metal hardware establishes the security of your weights
• Top-mounted handle makes transporting the weights effortless
• Custom-cut foam inserts are used for insulating between the weights

• Built-to-order and designed specifically for your weight sets
• Not available as an accessory purchase
• Available in 5 kg-20 kg capacities
• Secured by hinged latches
• Case keeps weights free of dust and contaminants
• Protects your weights in storage and during transportation
• Cases should be packed in an external box during shipping to protect them

PVC Cases

• Available in capacities from 100 g-1 mg for Precision Mass Reference Standards
• Also available for ASTM Class 0 weights in 100 g-1 mg capacities

Light-Duty/Single Weight Cases

Light-duty/single weight cases can be used for storage and shipping smaller capacity weights within additional materials.
