Instructions
Introduction
Please read this instruction carefully before use.
Initial charging:
If the solar panel is covered with a thin protective film, remove it before
using the product. Remove the ground spike by holding the solar unit firmly
and turning the ground spike counter clockwise, as shown in fig.1, and remove
the pull-tab from the battery compartment. Replace the ground spike, and turn
it clockwise to lock it. (fig.2) Place the product in a location where it can
receive a full 8 hours of sunlight to allow the rechargeable battery to reach
maximum capacity.
Optimal location for charging:
Place the product in an area where it can receive direct sunlight for at least
8 hours each day. Shadowed locations will not allow the battery to charge
fully and will reduce the hours of nighttime lighting. The selected location
should not be near nighttime light sources, such as porch lights, street
lights or pool lights, as these may cause the solar light to turn off
prematurely.
Operation
This product has two distinct modes of operation, selectable by means of the mode- switch (A) the mode switch has three positions:
- OFF -turns the device off, it will not light at all
- ON – when darkness tills, the product will start to spread a warm white light (2.7001<)
- RGB-when darkness falls, the product will start to slowly phase through all the colours of the rainbow. gently flowing from one to the other.
- When fully charged, the- product will light up for 6-8 hours.
Battery Replacement:
NOTE: This operation should be- done in the morning on a sunny day.
This will allow the product to receive a full 8 hours of sunlight so that the
rechargeable battery can reach maximum capacity.
- Remove the ground spike by turning it counterclockwise. (Fig,1)
- Remove the old battery and replace with a new AAA size 1.2V rechargeable battery of same or greater capacity (mAh).
(USE RECHARGEABLE NiMH (HR03) BATTERIES ONLYI)
Note: Clean the battery contacts and those of the device prior to battery
installation.
- Be sure to insert the battery in proper direction (+/-).
- Replace the ground spike on the solar puck. (Fig,2)
Warning:
- Safe for outdoor operation.
- Failure to insert battery in the correct polarity, as indicated in the battery compartment, may shorten the life of the battery or cause battery to explode or leak.
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
- Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Remove battery if consumed or if product is to be left unused for a long period.
Care and Cleaning
Solar panel should be cleaned periodically with damp cloth for maintaining optimum performance (to remove dust and del>ris). Do not place in areas where children normally play, or where they may trip and fall against the solar lantern.
Notes on Disposal
The product is designated for separate collection at an appropriate collection
point.
Do not dispose of the product with household waste. For more information,
contact the retailer or the local authority responsible for waste management.
Care
Before cleaning the unit, disconnect it, if necessary form other components;
do not use aggressive cleaning agents. The unit has been carefully checked for
defects. If nevertheless you do have cause for complaint, please go back to
the retailer where you have bought the product together
with your proof of purchase. We are not liable for damage arising from
incorrect handling, improper use or wear or tear. We reserve the right to make
technical modifications.

- Only use the product for its intended purposes. Do not use the product for other purposes than described in the manual.
- Do not use this product if any part is damaged or defective. If the product is damaged or defective, replace the product immediately.
- This product shall not be used by children without the supervision of an adult. Children shall not play with the device.
- Do not modify the product in any way.
- Do not expose the product to water or moisture. (IP 20)
- Do not immerge the product into water. (IP 44 – IP 67)
- Keep the product away from heat sources.
- Do not block the ventilation openings.
- Do not look directly into the LED lamp.
- Keep a minimum distance of 1 meter between the lamp and the surface being illuminated.
Electrical safety

To reduce risk of electric shock, this product should only be opened by an authorized technician when service is required.

Do not use the product if the cable or plug is damaged or defective. When damaged or defective, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized repair agent.
Before use, always make sure that the voltage is the same as the voltage on the rating plate of the device. -
Make sure that the cable does not hang over the edge of a worktop and cannot be caught accidentally or tripped over
Warning
- The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person.
- Caution, risk of electric shock.
- The external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire cannot be replaced; if the cord is damaged, the luminaire has to be destroyed.
