Please read the following instructions carefully before using, and keep it for future use.
KEJI Warranty 12 months
Product Warranty-valid for Australian customers only Officeworks Ltd warrants that this product will be free from defects and work as intended for 12 months from the date of purchase by the original customer. If the product has any defects or does not work as intended during the Warranty Period, Officeworks will, as its election and at its expense, repair or replace the product.
This warranty does not apply:
- to cosmetic damage;
- where the product has not been used in accordance with all provided instructions
- to damage arising from fair wear and tear
- where the product has not been subject to reasonable use
- where the product has been intentionally or negligently damaged and/or
- if the customer has atempted to repair the product.
To make a claim under his warranty, please return your product with your receipt or proof of purchase to your nearest Officeworks store or contact 1300 633 423. This warranty is provided in addition to any rights you may be entitled to under the Competitions & Consumer Act 2010. Our goods come with guaantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably freseeable loss and damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Using Your Shredder
SETTING UP THE SHREDDER
- Remove the shredder from its carton and unwind the cord to its full length.
- Place the waste bin on a firm level surface in a stable upright position.
- Take the main shredder unit and put it onto the waste bin.
- Make sure the function switch is in the “OFF” position.
- Connect the plug to the 220-240V AC mains.
AUTO MODE
- To use this mode, turn the function switch to “AUTO”.
- Feed the paper into the paper throat, the shredder will operate to shred the paper.
- Once all the papers have been shredded, it will stop itself.
OFF MODE
- To switch the shredder off, turn the function switch to the “OFF” position.
REVERSE MODE
- To switch this shredder to this mode, switch the function switch to “REV” position.
- The cutting blade in the shredder will run in the reverse direction.
PAPER JAM
- Turn the function switch to “REV” position to let the cutting blade run in the reverse direction. The paper will reverse out from the throat.
- Pull out the paper carefully to clear the throat.
- Once the jammed paper is removed, turn the function switch to “AUTO” positon for normal operation.
DISPOSE OF WASTE
- Ensure power is off at mains.
- Dispose of shredder waste.
- Re-assemble shredder correctly before shredding.
MAINTENANCE
The use of J.Burrows Shredder Oil or J.Burrows Shredder Oil Sheets is recommended to clean the shredder mechanism and maintain the cutting quality.
MOTOR OVER-HEAT SAFETY DEVICE
Your shredder is fitted with a safety device that switches off in the unit in
event of an overload. During an overload situation, the unit will stop
automatically, and the overheat protection indicator will light up. Turn the
unit off and unplug from mains. Allow the motor to cool down to room
temperature before resuming operation. If the unit fails to operate or the
safety device switches the unit off again, return the unit.

Cleaning
The paper shredder requires regular cleaning.
- Before cleaning ensure power is switched off at mains and plug has been removed.
- Clean the outer surface with a soft damp cloth only.
- Ensure the unit is dry before connect to the mains.

- Read all the instructions carefully before using.
- To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the machine in water or any other liquid.

Please do not spray onto or shred near any flammable materials as it may cause a fire. Shred in a well ventilated area.

Shredder will stop shredding after a period of continuous use. Wait for shredder to cool down before trying again. Check product instructions for run times.
