-
The heating element can be immersed in water but should never be placed in the dishwasher.
-
Never wet the electric unit (See Fig 2.).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
-
Install the removable pot and electric unit correctly.
-
Assemble the fryer basket handle correctly.
• Hold the handle and squeeze the handle ends together.
• Place the handle ends in the small holes near the bottom of the fryer basket and release your grip.
• Pull the handle toward the basket wall until it clicks into place.
-
Pour fresh oil into the removable pot to the level between Max. and Min., as indicated inside the removable pot.
-
Plug the fryer in and set the required time. The red power indicator light will illuminate. Set it to the desired temperature by turning the temperature control. The green heat indicator lights up and remains on while the deep fryer heats up. Once the deep fryer has reached the selected temperature, the green heat indicator will go out
-
Lower the basket containing the food into the hot oil and put the lid on. Always keep the cover closed throughout frying!
Note: The green heat indicator comes on and goes off intermittently during use. This merely indicates that the appliance is maintaining the selected temperature. The red power indicator will remain illuminated throughout use. -
Please make sure the food is as dry as possible before putting it into the basket.
Do not add water, ice or wet food. Doing so may cause hot oil to splatter. When frying frozen food, clear off ice particles and thaw food thoroughly. Do not overfill the food basket. -
The DING sound means the food has finished cooking. The red and green indicator lights will go out at the same time. Open the cover and lift up the basket handle to elevate the basket and allow the oil to drain (as illustrated in Fig 3.).
Warming:
- Preheating the appliance is not necessary.
- not use the deep fryer when the oil is below the minimum level. Fig 3
- The deep fryer must only be connected to the power supply after it has been filled with oil.
- NEVER TURN THE APPLIANCE ON IF IT DOES NOT CONTAIN THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF OIL!
If the appliance is used without an adequate amount of oil, the temperature of the heating element will rapidly rise to about 300 ° C within several seconds. This will engage the thermal-cut off inside the electric unit, the power will be cut off, and the power-on light will go out. If this occurs, disconnect the power supply first and let the appliance completely cool. Then take out the electric unit and press the “RESET” key once (See Fig. 4). Otherwise, the heating element will not work when the appliance is next used.
